Inviting Online Applications for Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) 2026.
The National Testing Agency has been entrusted to conduct Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) - 2026, a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Five Year Integrated Programme in Management at Indian Institute of Management - Bodh Gaya and Indian Institute of Management – Jammu.

Important Instructions:

Candidate can apply for JIPMAT -2026 through the "Online" mode only through the website https://exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

Candidate must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin hosted on the website of NTA https://exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.

Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only as all information/communication shall be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address and SMS on the registered Mobile Number.

Applicable service/processing charges & GST over and above the Examination Fee, are to be paid by the candidate to the concerned Bank / Payment Gateway Integrator (For details, Appendix-II may be referred to).
Note: As per Judgement dated Feb 3, 2023, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C) 891/2021, the OCI candidates who have registered for OCI/PIO before 4/Mar/2021 will be considered for the seats allocated to the Indian nationals (under General category only). The candidates must pay the application fee by choosing the appropriate option while filling in the application form.

Mode of Examination:
JIPMAT - 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
Medium of Question Paper:
The medium of Question Paper shall be in English only.

Note: * Compensatory time for PwD/PwBD Candidates of 20 minutes for a one-hour Examination will be given to those who are eligible for Scribe.
Syllabus:

Section A: Quantitative Aptitude
Questions will be asked to test the understanding and application of various concepts up to class 10 Mathematics.

Section B: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Data Interpretation - Questions will be asked to test the ability to interpret from the given dataset.
Logical Reasoning - Questions will be asked to test the reasoning ability.

Section C: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Verbal Ability - Questions will be asked to test the basic understanding of English language.
Reading Comprehension - Questions will be asked to test the ability to comprehend, interpret and infer from the given passage.
Marking Scheme:
-
Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
-
For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
-
One (01) mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
-
Un-answered/un-attempted will be given no marks.
-
To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.
-
However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.

In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not.
Eligibility requirements:
-
Candidates should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent in the year 2024, 2025 or is appearing in 2026. The candidate must have passed class 10th examination in the year not before 2022. The IIMs (Bodh Gaya and Jammu) may have different eligibility requirements; the candidates are required to refer to the website of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for this.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th and 12th standard would be calculated based on the Board’s regulation. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet should be considered for calculating the passing percentage.
List of examination equivalent to 10+2:
-
Plus, two-level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.

Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
-
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as State Board of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
