Application Procedure (2025)
The examination is being conducted online so that students need not visit the University campus physically considering the present cpandemic situation and at the same time can appear for the examination from remote locations (his/her home or from nearby Cybercafe etc.).

No Application Fee is charged for appearing in JET-2025. Students are required to Apply Online for appearing in the JET-2025 through the JIS University website by clicking the following link: Register Now

You need to first register yourself by providing basic details like Name, Email id, Phone Number, DOB, Valid Aadhaar Card or Voter ID or Passport etc. and then select the Program Type and Course to schedule the exam date and time as displayed in the portal. Students need to choose the date and time slots for the Online JIS University Entrance Test (JET 2025) after registration for the said examination.

Students can indicate their preference of subjects as applicable 1st Choice, 2nd Choice and 3rd Choice for appearing for the entrance exam. Please also refer the Question Pattern section to know the topics of the JET for each Course before scheduling the JET date and time.

Examination Procedure
JET-2025 is an online examination that can be taken by a student using a desktop or laptop while sitting at home or a nearby Cybercafe, as per the specified time slot through prior registration. A student will receive the login credentials for the examination portals on the day of the examination.

The following pre-requisites are essential during the conduction of the examination:

• Desktop or Laptop with a minimum hardware configuration of 2GB RAM, Intel Celeron or Intel Dual-core or AMD Athlon and free disk space of 5 GB.
• Latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or Safari as the browser.
• Good Internet Connection with at least 1 Mbps bandwidth.

Students can contact the Admission Cell at +91 86977 43361 / 62 / +91 90733 22509 if they fail to appear in the examination due to some emergency, and after intimation, they can reschedule the date and time of the examination. For such cases, they have to re-register for a fresh date of the online exam (JET 2025).

The result of the examination will be declared within 48 working hours after completion of the examination and to be intimated to the candidates individually by email. The candidates are advised to complete the process of Admission for the respective course in the University within 7 days of declaration of the JET-2025 result by contacting the Admission Cell.

Students need to fill up Online Application for Admission from our website after qualifying JET 2025. They need to Click Apply Now under Admission menu in our home page.

After qualifying the Entrance Test (JET 2025) and filling up the Online Application form, the student needs to contact the Admission Department. The student will receive an 11-digit Application ID after filling up the Online Application form. The Admission department then Offers Admission, and upon acceptance of the Admission Offer by the student, he/she needs to make the payment for Admission fees.

Steps in the Admission Process:

• Confirm Admission by making payment either through Online mode or Offline mode.
• Complete the Physical Document Verification process by visiting the University campus with a prior appointment.
• Carry original and self-attested photocopies of the following documents (from Class X to highest qualification):
  - Marksheet
  - Admit Card (indicating the Board Registration Number)
  - Pass Certificate
  - Aadhar Card (preferably) or Passport / PAN Card / Voter Id Card
  - 5 passport size photographs
  - Original Migration / Transfer / School Leaving Certificate (as applicable)

For Foreign Students:

• Valid Passport
• Five recent passport size photographs
• 10+2 or equivalent exam mark sheet (for UG) / Graduation marksheet (for PG)
• Marks-equivalent-to-grade certificate (if applicable)
• Admit Card of class 10 (age proof)
• NOC from the concerned national Govt. for studying in India
• Student Visa from Govt. of India

Payment Process
The Admission department activates the payment gateway in the Admission portal, after which the student can pay online by logging in with their User ID and password.

Students can make payments online using:

• Debit / Credit Card
• Internet Banking
• Demand Draft
• NEFT / Internet Banking
• UPI payment systems like Google Pay, PayTM, etc.

Note: Students should get the official payment account details of JIS University from the Admission Department before making any transaction. Cash payments are not accepted.

For Foreign Students: They must contact the Admission Department to understand the payment procedures, obtain an Admission Offer Letter, and complete Visa formalities before making any payment.

The JET-2025 examination consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 2 hours (duration may vary by course). The topics depend on the course applied for, covering subjects such as English, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and more. Detailed information is available on the official website. There is no negative marking during evaluation.

If a student does not pass on their first attempt, they may be granted an additional attempt at the discretion of the management, decided on a case-by-case basis.
