KPPGCA has been orchestrating the process of admission to MBA and MCA courses to fill the management quota of seats in the member institutions by holding the "Karnataka Management Admission Test (KMAT)" conducted online remote proctored. Besides facilitating admission to MBA and MCA courses, KPPGCA is actively spearheading a variety of academic curricular and co-curricular programmes.

Registration Process: Candidates are required to follow the schedule for registration for KMAT 2026. The registration process is entirely online and straightforward, taking only a few minutes to complete.

Admit Card: The KMAT 2026 Admit Card will be issued online. Candidates must download the Admit Card and carefully follow the instructions provided on it.

Eligibility: MBA/MCA colleges in Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka, with a reasonable fee structure, will consider KMAT 2026 scores as part of their admission criteria. This applies to both All India Candidates and Karnataka Domicile candidates for admission to their flagship MBA/PGDM/MCA programs in 2026.

Exam Conducted by KPPGCA: Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 is organized by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). It facilitates admission to over 189 AICTE approved and university-affiliated Management Institutes in Bangalore and Karnataka.

All India Exam: KMAT 2026 is an All India examination, taking place in more than 10 cities across Bangalore, Karnataka, and the entire country. It is open to candidates from all regions of India and abroad.

Equal Opportunity: KPPGCA believes in providing a level playing field for all test-takers. KMAT 2026 will be a Home Based Online Remote Proctored Test with a duration of 2 hours. The aim is to ensure a single testing session with the same difficulty level, eliminating any discrimination among candidates.

National Candidature: KPPGCA has opened KMAT exam registration to candidates from all over the country, regardless of their domicile state. This expansion allows candidates from across India to be considered for admission to MBA/MCA programs in more than 189+ B-Schools located in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka.

Candidates are encouraged to adhere to the specified registration timelines and guidelines to ensure a smooth application process for KMAT 2026.

Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for admission into certain professional courses in Karnataka, such as MBA, PGDM, and MCA, typically include the following requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum duration of three years or a Master's degree from a recognized educational institution. The degree should be in fields such as Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/Technology, or an equivalent discipline.

Minimum Marks: Candidates are required to have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate for general category candidates. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, a minimum of 45% marks is typically accepted.

Final Year Candidates: Students who are in the final year of their Bachelor's degree program are usually eligible to apply, provided they meet the minimum percentage requirement at the time of application.

It's important to note that specific institutions or universities may have variations in their eligibility criteria, and applicants should verify the exact requirements of the program they are interested in applying to.
