PIMS-AIPET stands for the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences All India Ph.D. Entrance Test. It is an entrance examination for students seeking admission to the full-time Ph.D. programs offered by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences in Medical, Dental, and Allied Health Sciences.

Last date for Submission of Application Form	01st July, 2026 up to 12:00 A.M.
Last Date for Submission of Application From with Late Fee (Rs. 100/- Per Day Extra)	08th July, 2026 up to 12:00 A.M.
Date of the Examinations	12th July, 2026 Paper-I: 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Paper-II: 02:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M.

Prerequisites

Persons having passed Post Graduate Degree (Master Degree) Examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) 5 % relaxation if required in the percentage of marks will be given to the students of State of Maharashtra belonging to SC/ST/DT/NT/SBC/OBC categories. Above mentioned rules will also be applicable to the foreign candidates who have obtained a Masters Degree from any of the recognized Indian Universities.
Application for research in inter-disciplinary areas and from applicants belonging to a faculty or subjects other than the faculty or subjects in which the research is proposed to be done and from the international candidates (those who have not obtained the Master's Degree from Indian Universities) shall be considered on the basis of the proven ability and aptitude of the researcher for such kind of research. Such proposal shall be examined by the Guide and the Head, Place of Research before giving provisional admission. The admission will be confirmed after the Research and Recognition Committee/s concerned, approves the topic.

Admission Procedure

Selection of candidate for Ph.D studies will be through an Entrance test conducted by University.
It shall be followed by an interview organized by the university
At the time of interview by Board of Research, the doctoral candidates are expected to discuss their research interest/area/paln of work.

The processing fee and the Test fee is non-refundable.
PIMS-AIPET 2026 Result will be displayed on www.pravara.com & candidate’s login.
The PIMS University will provide the facility of downloading Admit Card of PIMS-AIPET 2026 on Candidates individual login only through www.pravara.com candidate may please note that admit cards will be not be sent by the post or by E-mail.

4.	Negative Marking	There will be no Negative marking

Instructions to candidates:

The Candidates should report at the examination centre 60 minutes before the commencement of examination.
To take a print-out of admit card and keep with you before attending the PIMS-AIPET 2026 Exam.
The Admit Card applying to Entrance Test does not guarantee admission in the above courses.
In case of any dispute the University decision will be final.
