The Punjab University Common Entrance Test PG [PU-CET (PG)] is an entrance exam conducted by Panjab University for admission to its various postgraduate courses, including Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and LL.M. programs.

Steps to follow

Read prospectus carefully.
Register Online. [last date for registration: June 09, 2026]
Check your email for Login Id and Password.
Login to your account to pay fee through online mode only. [last date for submission of fee through online mode only: June 09, 2026]
After successful payment, complete your form . Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm. (Once you confirm the form, you will not be allowed to change information in the form. [last date for completion of form: June 09, 2026]
Download your Admit Card after June 14, 2026.

Note:

Online Form once submitted, the candidate shall not be allowed to make any change in it by way of any addition / deletion / alteration / amendment / change under any circumstances.
Candidates desirous to appear in more than one paper, must ensure that there is no clash of timings in those papers.
Fee of Entrance Test is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Candidate availing concession in the fee under the category SC/ST/PwD OR P.U. Class B/C Regular Employee must send the copy of printout of their filled form alongwith the self attested copy of Category Certificate/ Proforma for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees ("B" and "C" Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before June 10, 2026 upto 04:00 P.M.
Mere login id creation OR deposit of fee does not mean that candidate has completed his/her online application form. Incomplete form leads to cancellation of candidature. Any request for completion of form after due date will not be entertained at all.

Note: Applying for Entrance Test and taking the Test do not entitle a candidate for admission. For admission to PU-CETPG based programmes being offered by various Department/Centre/Institute at Panjab University only, online Admission Form will have to be submitted by the Candidate separately. Availability of Online Admission Form will be updated later on. The candidates are required to fill up and submit online Admission Form at http://onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in before the last date of submission of online Admission Form even if the result of Entrance Test has not been declared by then.
