Fee Payable by candidates in INR *The schedule will remain unaltered even if the date of the exam is declared as a Public Holiday.

*Candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes–Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) category must ensure that their caste/community is included in the Central List of Other Backward Classes (OBC) available on the website of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) at www.ncbc.nic.in , as on the first day of the month in which the online admission process for RIMC commences. Candidates whose caste/community is included in the said Central List of OBC may select “OBC-NCL” as their category while filling out the Online Admission Form. Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL category as per the State/UT list, but whose caste/community is not included in the Central List of OBC, must not select “OBC-NCL”. Such candidates shall select “Un-Reserved (UR)” as their category.

Note: The fee as mentioned above is exclusive of any taxes or service charges payable to banks/payment organizations, that may be applicable. No request for refund of the examination fee once successfully remitted will be entertained by NTA, except in the case of duplicate or multiple payments arising from the same application. Such duplicate payments will be refunded automatically through the original payment mode after fee reconciliation by NTA, generally after declaration of the final result.

Fee: Fees at RIMC are heavily subsidized by the Central Govt. The annual fee is Rs. 1,48,650/- for General Candidates and Rs. 1,31,850/- for SC/ST Candidates except for the first year. Various State Government grant generous scholarship to meritorious students.

The fee structure may be revised periodically. Details of the annual fee for the first year are as under: Education Qualification: RIMC begins its academic session from Class VIII. Therefore, at the time of admission, candidates should have been studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from a recognized School.

Last Date od Submission: The last date for submission of the Online Application Form for the Entrance Examination to be held in December 2026 is 30 September, 2026. The last date for late submission of the Online Application Form with a late fee is 07 October, 2026. The Notification in this regard is available on the official website of the NTA at https://exams.nta.nic.in/RIMCEE .

Examination Schedule:
Schedule of examination and interview is given below:

• For Admission in July 2027 term - the Stage-I written examination will be conducted on 06 December, 2026. Stage-II Viva Voce is tentatively scheduled for April 2027; the exact date and venue will be announced separately on the official NTA/RIMC website.
• For details about Exam and its Stages, candidates are advised to refer to Chapter-7 .
• It is mandatory to pass all the Stages of the Examination, i.e. Written Examination, Viva Voce and Medical Exam separately.

Procedure for Applying for RIMCEE-2026: The procedure for filling the Online Application Form, Payment of Fee and uploading of document has been given in Chapter-6 . It is advised to read and understand the procedure carefully before filling up the Application Form.
