Admission to 3 year UG Law and 5 Year Integrated UG Law Program, 2026

The online application is for admissions to Law UG programs offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur).
Admissions will be done through SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Law (SRMJEEL) followed by a personal interview. Students with eligible entrance scores in CLAT/SAT will be granted direct consideration for the Personal Interview.
Application Fee is Rs. 1,200/- for each phase and it is non-refundable. There would be 2 different phases of SRMJEEL conducted. If the candidate wishes to take the SRMJEEL more than once, he/she can fill the required application form with respect to each phase.
Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrollment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

- Any Degree with minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent letter grade/GPA.
- Appeared in 2025 SRMJEEL for 3 year LLB program.

- 10, +2 pass in regular/normal mode. Minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent letter grade/GPA in +2 board examination.

Diversity Scholarship

Regional Diversity :Students from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry who are eligible for any of the above scholarships based on their SRMJEEL scores will also receive an equivalent percentage of scholarship on their hostel fees, should they choose to opt for the hostel facility.
Gender Diversity: All Female candidates will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver

Important Note: All Scholarships will be processed after enrollment in the first year, upon successful verification of all required documents. Any fees paid will be reimbursed or adjusted against the fees for subsequent years, as applicable.
Conditions for renewal:

Renewal upon application within the stipulated date every year.
No arrears/backlogs at the time of application.
No break in studies/detention/disciplinary action/malpractice.
Must possess the required CGPA as stipulated below,  For Merit Scholarship – 8 CGPA  Gender/Regional diversity scholarship – 7 CGPA.

Diversity Scholarship
Diversity scholarships are offered in addition to any one of the other SRM Merit scholarship obtained by the candidate. If a candidate is eligible for more than one merit scholarship, the highest of the scholarship will be considered.
