Submission of Online Application for TG PGECET - 2026 will be activated from 27/02/2026 (Friday) at 04:00 P.M. onwards.

Applications are invited for appearing Telangana Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2026 (TG PGECET-2026) to have admission into Full Time courses of M.E / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.Arch. / Graduate level Pharm.D (P.B.), in Universities, Affiliated Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture Colleges in Telangana State for the academic year 2026-2027.

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for TG PGECET-2026 may submit their applications through ONLINE MODE only. Online submission of application will commence from 27/02/2026. The related information regarding eligibility, syllabi, instructions, procedure for online application and detailed time-table will be available on the website: https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in.

Registration fee: Rs. 1,100/- (Rs. 600/- for SC / ST / PWD candidates) per test. In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid accordingly.

Examination dates: 28/05/2026 to 31/05/2026.

Mode of Exam: The Exam will be conducted online only i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).

The registration fee should be paid through payment gateway (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / TG Online).
Note:

  • The vacant seats after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank/percentile score secured in the TG PGECET-2026 Entrance Test.
  • A separate notification will be issued for GATE/GPAT Candidates for registration to have admission into M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.Arch. / Graduate Level Pharm.D (P.B.) (Full Time) courses.

* The examination will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12;00 Noon (Reporting time at the test centre will be 08:30 A.M.).

Pattern of Entrance Test
  • The examination will be conducted in Online Mode only i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • Computer Based Test (CBT) is of two-hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answer. The qualifying percentage of marks for the TG PGECET-2026 is 25% of the maximum marks (i.e. 30 marks). However, for candidates belonging to SC / ST there is no minimum qualifying prescribed. Based on the marks secured the ranks will be issued.
