The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) is an annual state-level exam conducted by TBJEE for admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, agriculture, and other professional courses in Tripura. The 2026 exam is in offline (pen-and-paper) format, typically held in April, with 30 MCQs per subject (Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology) carrying +4 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect ones.

• Eligibility: Must be a citizen of India, a permanent resident of Tripura for at least 10 years, and have passed/appeared for Class 12.
• Exam Structure: The exam includes 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for each subject—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
• Duration & Marking: Each subject paper lasts 90 minutes. Marks are +4 for correct answers, -1 for wrong answers, and 0 for unattempted questions.
• Courses: Admissions are offered to B.Tech (Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical), Agriculture, and Paramedical courses.
• Application: Registration is online at the TBJEE website and generally opens in February.
