Note: Under exceptional circumstances, the Organizer—Bundelkhand University, Jhansi—reserves the right to modify the dates related to the B.Ed. (Two-Year) Course Entrance Examination-2026. Should any date pertaining to the B.Ed. (Two-Year) Entrance Examination-2026 be revised, a notification to this effect will be displayed on the official website of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
Educational Qualification
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the B.Ed. (Two-Year) Course Entrance Examination – 2026 are as follows:
  • Candidates belonging to the General and Backward Classes are eligible to appear for the entrance examination if they hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university established by law, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (fifty percent) in the Science, Social Sciences, or Humanities streams. Additionally, candidates holding a B.E. or B.Tech. (Engineering) degree—with a specialization in Mathematics and Science—with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (fifty-five percent), or possessing any other qualification deemed equivalent to the above, are also eligible to participate in the entrance examination.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university established by law, or a Bachelor's degree in B.E. or B.Tech. with a specialization in Mathematics and Science, or any other qualification equivalent to the above, are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.
  • Visually impaired candidates shall be granted a relaxation of 5% (five percent) in the minimum educational qualification at the graduate level.
  • The details regarding the educational qualifications for candidates seeking admission to the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) program at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, or its affiliated colleges, are as follows:
    A minimum of 50% (fifty percent) marks in the three-year Shastri Examination of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University; or the two-year Shastri Examination (up to the 1990 session); or a Shastri degree from any other university established by law; or a three-year Bachelor's degree with Sanskrit studied in all three years; or a two-year Shastri degree; or a two-year Bachelor's degree with Sanskrit as an optional subject (up to the 1985 session). The stipulation of having studied Sanskrit in all three years implies that Sanskrit must have been studied as a major/core subject.
Important Note:
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the year 2026 shall also be eligible to apply for this entrance examination. It will be mandatory for such candidates to possess the minimum qualifying credentials prior to the counseling process.

Essential Guidelines for Filling Out the Application Form
During the form filling process, the applicant can make the entries and save the information. If the applicant is unable to fill in the form in one sitting or somehow the process is interrupted, the applicant is NOT required to register again. Applicant can login using the login details sent on his/her mobile number and on the email to continue with the process.

Applicants are advised to check all the data entered before the final submission of the application form and fee. In case of any error the same can be edited or entire process can be started again. Once the application fee has been submitted, entries on the registration page cannot be edited under any circumstances.
  • Step 1 - Registration
    - Applicants must fill all the relevant details in the form provided. These fields cannot be edited later.
    - Applicants will receive their login details on the mobile number and e-mail ID provided at the time of registration.
  • Step 2 - Personal Detail
    - Applicants are required to enter their personal details in the prescribed place.
  • Step 3 - Upload the documents
    - Upload the scanned images/PDFs of all the documents in the prescribed format and size (e.g., photo, signature, left and right thumb impressions, caste certificate, weightage and other documents related to claims).
  • Step 4 - Educational Qualification
    - Applicants must fill their educational qualifications. Enter the aggregate marks of all the subjects mentioned in the mark sheets. Applicants who have appeared for their UG/PG Final Year / Semester Examination in 2026, are required to fill in the name of their University and their Roll Number. All such applicants have to login and fill their UG/PG marks before appearing for counselling, in absence of which their candidature will be rejected.
  • Step 5 - Weightage
    - Applicants are required to fill in their details related to the claim of weightage and upload certificate related to the weightage claimed by them that is duly signed by the competent issuing authority.
  • Step 6 - Choice of Test Centre District
    - Applicant is required to fill Five choices of Test Centre District, in order of his/her preference. The Test Centre District allotted may be different from his/her choice and the Bundelkhand University reserves the right to allot any other Test Centre District.
  • Step 7 - Payments
    - The applicant must deposit the required fee Online through Internet banking/Debit Card/Credit Card and UPI.
  • Step 8 - Print Application form
    - Applicants are required to take a print copy of the duly filled application form and the fee receipt for final completion of the application process. Applicant must retain the printout of the application form which will be needed for future reference.
*Applicants DO NOT have to send copy of the printout of the application form to the University.

**Data Editing
- Editable data can be edited by the Applicant by logging in to the admission website using the login details sent on the registered mobile number and e-mail. In case the Applicant does not remember the login details, the same can be regenerated by clicking on the Forgot Password link and entering his/her Registration Number. The new login details would be sent to the registered mobile number.
- The data submitted in the registration page and the opted category cannot be edited under any circumstances.
