Selection Procedure & Syllabus for EAT-2026
BCA (2026-29)

Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 (Science/ Arts/ Commerce) with aggregate 45% marks and above having mathematics/Business Mathematics/ Computer Science/ I.P. as one of the subject.

>Selection Procedure: Students for the admission in BCA will be selected through Entrance Aptitude Test followed by counseling conducted by the Department. Aptitude test will be of 90 minutes and will Comprise 50 Multiple Choice/Objective type questions of 100 marks in two sections:

Negative Marking: One fourth of the marks of each question will be deducted for wrong answers.

Result: Result of Entrance test will be published on the university website/ notice board of the department. Selected candidates must appear in the counseling with all original documents to be verified. Final selection will be made after counseling of screened candidates in person.

Section A: Mathematics (50 marks)

Algebra: AP, GP, HP, Theory of quadratic equation. Permutation and combination, Binomial Theorem. Trigonometry: General values of trigonometrically functions, Inverse Circular functions, Logarithms.

Calculus: Limits of function, Differentiation of function. Implicit function. Integration by the method of substitution, method of transformation and method of integration by parts definite integration, dy/dx as a rate measurer.

Co-ordinate Geometry: Equations of Straight lines.

Matrices: Addition, subtraction and multiplication of matrices.

Vector Analysis: Addition of vectors, product of two vectors, Statics-Resultant of two forces at a point inclined at an angle, triangle of forces, converse of triangle of forces Lamas theorem, Projectiles.

Section B: General Ability Test (50 marks)

Computer Basics, General Science, General Studies, English & Reasoning (verbal/non verbal)
