Important dates for online application, online admission and physical verification
in respect of admission of ICAR and Hill Q uota candidaies in
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / Horticurture courses and B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) Course: 2026-27

In respect of admission of ICAR and Hill Quota candidates in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture/Horticulture courses and in B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering course of the University for the academic session 2026-27, following dates may be noted-

• Important information for candidates:
  • List of candidates who have been provisionally selected is enclosed as Annexure-I .
  • Candidates failing to take admission for the session 2026-27 as per above mentioned schedule, will not be allowed to take admission at any later date.
  • Admission will be conducted as per terms & conditions stipulated in the "BCKV Admission Brochure, Under Graduate Degree Programme - 2026".
  • All details are mentioned in the Admission Brochure, uploaded on the University website.
  • The steps of Online Admission Process are available on University website (www.bckv.edu.in ).
  • Up-gradation will not be allowed for ICAR and Hill quota candidates.
• Documents required to be submitted/ produced at the time of Physical Verification:

  7	Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned District Magistrate (DM) or Sub Divisional Officer (SDO)
  8	[Redacted] Card of the applicant
  9	[Redacted] Card of parents (Father and Mother)
  10	Filled in Application Form submitted online in BCKV portal
  11	Provisional Admission Letter generated in BCKV portal
  12	Admit Card issued to the candidate by NTA (for ICAR Quota Students only)
  13	Computer generated confirmation page of online application submitted to NTA (for ICAR Quota Students only)
  14	Rank card issued by ICAR to eligible candidates (for ICAR Quota Students only)
  15	Allotment letter issued by ICAR to eligible candidates (for ICAR Quota Students only)
  16	Provisional admission letter issued by the admitting University (for ICAR Quota Students only)
  17	Nomination letter issued by Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) [for Hill Quota Students only]
  18	Blood Electrophoresis Report
  19	School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate/ Migration Certificate/Character Certificate, as applicable
  20	First page of Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque
  21	Recent 01 (one) copy passport size colour photograph taken against a white background, with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears

• Guidelines for on-line application and admission:
  • Open BCKV website at www.bckv.edu.in and click on "Admission".
  • Then click on "Admission (online)" and then "Student Login" for new application.
  • User ID and Password will be sent to respective student's mail ID.
  • Fill in the online application form carefully with all details.
• Application Fee:

  • Nearest Railway Station: Kanchrapara (Sealdah-Krishnagar Main Line, Eastern Railway). From railway station by bus (Route No. 22 and 88)/by auto. Stoppage- BCKV Main Gate, Mohanpur.
  • Nearest Airport: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Jessore Road, Dum Dum, Kolkata, West Bengal-700052. From Airport by train or by bus or other vehicle via NH-34 (now NH-12).
  • Nearest Bus Route: National Highway-34 (now NH-12) (Siliguri-Kolkata or Kolkata-Siliguri bus route), Stoppage Barajaguli. From Barajaguli by Auto/Toto/Bus to BCKV Main Gate, Mohanpur (approx. 5 minutes).
