It is notified to all concerned that the eligible candidates who have already been listed in the provisional merit list for admission to Ph.D. Programme in the academic session 2026-27, are requested to attend personally for offline counseling and admission as per schedule mentioned in Annexure-I.

1. General Instruction:-

a. Admission will be conducted as per P.G. Notification No.A/Agril.PG-9(Part-12)/L-163, dated 02/09/2026 (PG Notification No.1/2026-27).
b. During counseling the candidates shall have to opt the department for admission as per ranking and as per availability of seats. For all the seats, reservation policy for admission will be followed as per W.B. Govt. norms.
c. Hostel allotment will be carried out on the same date as per availability.
d. Candidates failing to attend the counseling as per the above mentioned schedule, will not be allowed to take admission. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
e. Venue: Convocation Hall, Administrative Building, BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal.

2. Documents required to be submitted/ produced at the time of Physical Verification (Original document, along with self-attested photocopy in A4 size paper of each document)

1.	Higher Secondary Mark-sheet (both side).
2.	Mark-sheets/Grade Cards of Examination: Diploma Course, Bachelor Degree (4-Years Degree Course) [Both sides].
3.	Age-proof certificate (Birth certificate / Admit Card or Admission Card of Secondary Examination).
4.	Valid medical certificate from proper authority for physically challenged (PwD) candidate.
5.	Cast Certificate of the competent authority for SC/ST candidates.
6.	Valid OBC-NCL certificate of the competent authority for OBC candidates.
7.	Valid EWS certificate for EWS candidates should be issued by DM/ ADM/ SDO/ DWO.
8.	Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned District Magistrate (DM) or Sub Divisional Officer (SDO).
9.	AADHAAR Card of the applicant.
10.	AADHAAR Card of parents (Father and Mother).
11.	Application Form submitted online.
12.	Blood Electrophoresis Report.
13.	School Leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Migration Certificate/ Character Certificate, as applicable.
14.	Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.
15.	Recent 01 (one) copy passport size colour photograph with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

3. Following fees to be paid by the admitted candidates at the time of counselling/admission:

Tuition Fees per semester: (a) Self finance/Non-NET/Research Fellow sponsored by the corporate companies = 6,000/- (b) ICAR-SRF/URS/UGC-NET/CSIR or Similar other UGC or National Fellowship = 6,000/- (c) Research Fellow/Associate/Others (Govt. Project) = 10,000/- (d) In-service candidates = 25,000/- (e) Foreign student = 50,000/-
Seat Rent for Hosteller (for all category of students): (a) Foreign Student @ Rs.1,000/- per month (b) In-Service Student @ Rs.700/- per month (c) Self Finance/ Other Students @ Rs.500/- per month
N.B.: Additional amount (as applicable) will be charged towards Gateway fees for making online payment

4. CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION:

Wrong entry of credentials, misrepresentation and/or suppression of facts by any candidate, if detected at any stage of physical verification or even at any time through the course of study, shall lead to cancellation of admission.

5. Route Direction:

Nearest Railway Station : Kanchrapara (Eastern Railway). From station by bus (Route No. 22- Kanchrapara to Nagarukhra)/ Auto. Stoppage- Mohanpur, BCKV Main Gate.

Bus Route Direction : National Highway 34 (Shiliguri to Kolkata / Kolkata to Shiliguri bus route), Stoppage Barajaguli. From Barajaguli by Auto/ Toto Rickshaw van /Bus to Mohanpur, BCKV Main Gate (Approx 5 minutes)

NB: If there is any change in the above mentioned dates due to unavoidable circumstances, revised dates will be notified in the University Website.
