3rd Round of Offline Counseling and Admission for Master Degree Programme, 2025-26

In continuation of the earlier Notification No. A/Agril.PG-9(Part-XI)/L-1076, dated 25/09/2025 (PG Notification No.2/2025-26) and No. A/Agril.PG-9(Part-XI/L-1201, dated 08/12/2025 (PG Notification No.9/2025-26), it is notified to all concerned that the remaining vacant seats under Master Degree Programme, which will be available after completion of up gradation process on 09/01/2026 at 11:30 P.M., shall be filled up through 3rd round of offline counseling.

Vacant seat matrix is enclosed herewith in Annexure-I.

The 3rd Round Offline Counseling for admission to Master's Degree Courses in the academic session 2025-26 will be held on 09/01/2026 at 12:30 P.M. in the Convocation Hall, Administrative Building, BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia.

General Instructions

Vacant M.Sc. seats under ICAR quota will be first filled by BCKV students as per merit list. However, if BCKV students are not available for a particular module/programme, then these seats will be open for all (domicile/non-domicile) and will be filled up as per merit list and following the reservation policy of Government of West Bengal.
Vacant UR-PwD seats for M.Sc. courses for the session 2025-26 will be filled up with UR category candidates. However, in the event of receiving any objection raised by the State Government or any directives from the court of law, at any later date, admission in these vacant seats may be cancelled. In that case, the University shall not have any liability towards the admitted candidates.
In this respect, the candidates who would be admitted in these vacant UR-PwD seats would be required to give an undertaking, format of which will be provided at the time of admission.
The vacant UR-PwD -> UR seats will not be available for up-gradation.
During counseling the candidates shall have to opt the department for admission as per ranking and as per availability of seats. Reservation policy for admission will be followed for all the seats as per W.B. Govt. norms.
Hostel allotment will be carried out on the same date as per availability.
Candidates failing to attend the counseling as per the above mentioned schedule, will not be allowed to take admission. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
Venue: Convocation Hall, Administrative Building, BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal, India.
