UG Provisional Merit List 2026 Published for B.Sc Agriculture Admission

In continuation of the earlier Notification No. A/UG/Ag-1 (Part-11)/L-50 dated 22/05/2026 (U.G. Notification No 1/2026-27) the provisional merit list (combined and category-wise separately) of applicants under WBSCHSE Board, Other Board (CBSE/ICSE etc.), WBSCT&VE&SD (Vocational Stream) is being published herewith.

A) Guidelines for preparation of Merit list:

• Higher Secondary Marks which were subsequently reviewed and revised by the concerned Board up to 03.07.2026, were taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.
• For WBCHSE/ Other Boards (CBSE/ICSE etc.):

Step	Criteria
Step 1	The provisional merit list has been prepared based on the marks index generated, taking into consideration the total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Step 2	In case of a tie between two or more candidates in Step 1, the total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology has been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 3	In case of a tie between two or more candidates in Step 2, the marks obtained in Biology has been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 4	In case of a tie between two or more candidates in Step 3, the marks obtained in Chemistry has been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 5	In case of a tie between two or more candidates in Step 4, the marks obtained in Physics has been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 6	In case of a tie between two or more candidates in Step 5, the marks obtained in English has been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 7	In case of a tie even after Step 6, the date of birth of the candidates will be the deciding factor in respect of ascertaining the position of a candidate in the ranking list. Candidate who was born earlier would be placed ahead of the candidate who was born later.

For Vocational Stream (WBSCT & VE & SD):

Step	Criteria
Step 1	The provisional merit list has been prepared based on the marks index generated, taking into consideration the total marks obtained in Biology, English, Physics/Chemistry, and two Vocational subjects, as listed above.
Step 2	In case of a tie in Step 1, marks of column (f) have been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 3	In case of a tie after Step 2, marks of column (b) have been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 4	In case of a tie after Step 3, marks of column (c) have been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 5	In case of a tie after Step 4, marks of column (a) have been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 6	In case of a tie after Step 5, marks of column (g) have been taken into consideration for deciding the ranking of the candidates.
Step 7	In case of a tie even after Step 6, the date of birth of the candidates has been considered as deciding factor in respect of ascertaining the position of a candidate in the ranking list. Candidate who was born earlier would be placed ahead of the candidate who was born later.

B) Special Attention:

a) Seat Allotment will be made available on the University website (www.bckv.edu.in) as per availability of seats and in order of Merit.
b) In respect of candidates, whose Higher Secondary Marks would be subsequently reviewed and revised after 03.07.2026 by the concerned Board, those cases would be considered following the procedure mentioned below-

⚫ Based on the revised marks if the merit ranking of an applicant gets upgraded, he/she would be considered for admission as per his/her original position in the Provisional Merit List prepared based on the information provided by the candidate in the online application form as on 03.07.2026.
⚫ However, based on the revised marks if the merit ranking of an applicant gets downgraded, he/she would not be considered for admission.

c) Applicants who have provided incorrect or inappropriate information or input or have uploaded wrong document/s or have chosen the wrong board, etc., their applications have been rejected and their names have not been included in this Provisional Merit List. The list of applicants whose applications have been rejected are given separately.

• Abbreviations used in Merit List: GMR = General Merit Rank; AIN= Application Identification Number.
• Dates and other information regarding online counseling, allotment of seats and physical verification will be provided in the University Website (www.bckv.edu.in). Please follow the University website for updates.
