National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS)

This is for the general information of all concerned that the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (Scholarship Section), Government of India, is inviting online applications from eligible ST candidates under the National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) Scheme for the selection year 2026–2027. The Scholarship scheme is awarded for ST candidates who have secured admission or have been selected for pursuing Master’s level and Ph.D programmes abroad. The online application portal will remain open from 15^th May 2026 to 30^th June 2026 (5:30 PM) for submission of applications.

Under this scheme, 20 fresh ST students will be awarded scholarships to pursue their higher studies aboard. The detailed scheme guidelines, instruction manual, eligibility criteria, required documents, and other information related to the application process are available on the portal. Applicants are requested to read the guidelines carefully before submitting their applications.
