In continuation of the earlier Notice No. BU/DSW/MISC/2017/29/3505, dated. 26^th May, 2026 regarding the Aadhaar-Based Payment System (ABPS) and Aadhaar linking with the respective bank accounts of students, and in pursuance of the letter issued by the Director of Higher Education, Assam, dated. 10^th July, 2026, regarding the adoption of the Aadhaar-Based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) framework and the mandatory onboarding of all State-funded beneficiary-oriented schemes on the DIDS, it is hereby informed to all students of Bodoland University that the benefits under the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni (MMNMA), Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Babu Aasoni (MMNBA), and the Fee Waiver Scheme shall be disbursed only through the Aadhaar-Based Payment System (ABPS) to the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.

Accordingly, all eligible students are hereby requested to ensure the followings:

1. Possess a valid Aadhaar Number.
2. Ensure that their bank account is seeded with their Aadhaar Number.
3. Ensure that there is no mismatch between the student's name as registered in the SAMARTH portal and the name appearing in the Aadhaar card. In case of any discrepancy, the necessary corrections must be made at the earliest.
4. Ensure that the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is active and accessible for OTP-based verification. If the registered mobile number is inactive or incorrect, it must be updated at the earliest.
5. Students who do not possess a valid Aadhaar Number are requested to enroll for Aadhaar without delay.
6. Complete all the above requirements well in advance to avoid any delay, rejection, or denial of benefits under the above-mentioned schemes.

All students are further requested to verify the Aadhaar seeding status of their bank accounts with their respective banks and ensure that all details are updated and accurate. All students of Bodoland University are requested to take note of this notification and ensure strict compliance with the mandatory Aadhaar-related requirements for availing benefits under the MMNMA, MMNBA, and Fee Waiver Schemes.
