Corrigendum Notice for Counselling and Admission to the M.Ed. Course
(Session 2026-28) at the Department of Teacher Education, BSAEU
and Self-financed colleges affiliated to the BSAEU

Counselling for the Department of Teacher Education, BSAEU will be held on: 06^th October, 2026
Counselling for the Self-financed colleges, affiliated to the BSAEU will be held on: 08^th October, 2026
Venue: IASE Building, David Hare Campus, BSAEU (25/3 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata - 700019)

Please Note:
On aforementioned date of the counselling and admission at the David Hare campus of BSAEU –

All candidates must report by 11:30 A.M. positively.
Counselling & Admission will be done from 12:00 A.M. onwards.

Fees:

Every intending candidate, who wishes to participate in the M.Ed. Counselling & Admission process under the BSAEU (session: 2026-28), is required to pay a (non-refundable) Counselling fee of Rs. 1,000/- through the following Link: https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corplID=898879
The details of online payment process is provided in Annexure - "A" and link will be active for payment w,e.f. 03/10/2026 up to 10:00 A.M. of 06/10/2026.
To participate in this M.Ed. Counselling & Admission process under the BSAEU, - the intending candidates need to pay the aforesaid (non-refundable) Counselling fee of Rs. 1,000/- only once as detailed above.
The copy of the online payment proof is to be provided by the M.Ed. candidate at the time of entering for Counselling & Admission, or when asked for.
Total Fees for M.Ed. admission in the Dept. of Teacher Education, BSAEU for two years is Rs. 18, 500/- (to be paid online) while the Admission Fees for the Self-financed colleges will be decided by those institutions themselves as per rules.
Admission fee will have to be paid only/immediately after successful verification of documents during counselling, dated-06/10/2026.

Documents to be produced at the time of Counselling and Admission for Fresher Candidates:
Candidates must submit two self-attested photocopies of their original documents. The following original documents are required (one for the department & one for the office) to be produced at the time of counselling and admission:

Signed copy of the application form and admit card of M.Ed. Entrance Examination, 2026.
Photo-identity card (Adhaar/Voter ID)
Certificates in support of reservation/fee-reduction/exemption
Admit card of Secondary Examination
Mark sheet and certificate of Bachelor degree or equivalent
Mark sheet and certificate of Master degree or equivalent
Mark sheet and Certificate of B.Ed. / B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. (if pending then that is to be submitted before the relevant M.Ed. Registration)
Admit card of B.Ed. 4th semester (only for the Result Awaited candidates of B.Ed. of the session: 2024-26 and they need to submit the pass mark sheets of all the preceding semester examinations).

They have to submit attested photocopy of Final Mark sheet within seven days after publication of B.Ed. 4th semester result, otherwise his or her M.Ed. admission will be cancelled.

The Amount of Admission or Counselling fees will have to be deposited by the candidate through the link or the following steps are given below: Link: https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=898879

Steps to be followed for depositing the admission or counselling fees:

Candidate should visit the https://www.onlinesbi.sbi
Candidate should select 'SB Collect' from the menu.
In the next page, the Candidate should select Educational Institutions from the select category.
Next the candidate should Search for Educational Institution — 'BSAEU-COLLEGE' in the select payee option.
In the next page, the candidate should select Payment Category—+ 'BSAEU-M.Ed. Counselling Fee 2026-27 OR BSAEU-M.Ed. Admission Fee 2026-27'Respectively from the drop down Menu.
In the next page the Candidate should provide information (Application ID, Name of Candidate, Mobile Number of Candidate, and Email ID ofthe Candidate, Category, and Subject-either-Language or Science & Math or Social Science). After that click Submit.
In the next page the details will be displayed on the screen with admission or counselling fees Amount. Please provide the other mandatory information for Bank transaction.
On the 'SB Collect' page, the candidate should click the Check box at the end of the Disclaimer Clause to proceed for payment (I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above).
After confirmation of the payment details, the Candidate can make payment through Net Banking/CardPayment/ Other Payment modes.
In other Payment mode, the Candidate can download and print the Pre-Acknowledgement payment challan and make the payment through any SBI Branch.
Please note the Bank Charges for each payment mode is different.
