N.B.:

  • General Category Candidates who are willing to avail EWS cota are requested to must carry their EWS Certificate for the current financial year if applicable during counseling. There is provision for EWS category students in following method subjects Bengali, Geography, History, Music & Urdu.
  • Due to non-availability of Deputed candidates 2-UR Deputed & 1-SC Deputed converted to Life Science (1-UR), Bengali (1-UR) and English (1-SC) according to the demand of method subject considering the no. of applicants.
  • Date of Counselling: 05/10/2026, Monday.
SELECTED students seeking admission (2026-28) in the DEPARTMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION, BSAEU are informed to report within 11:30 A.M. sharp, for their document verification and admission to the DTE, BSAEU at the Ground floor, 25/3 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata - 700019 (i.e. David Hare campus) on the IASE Building above mentioned date. The Admission of the selected candidates will not be allowed after 12:00 Noon in any way.

At first, as per the time schedule given below only the Subjects and their Category wise 'SELECTED' candidates will be called serially for further processing of their testimonials and completion of Admission formalities. Thereafter, if seats remain vacant, then as per the time schedule given below - Subjects and their category wise 'WAITING' candidates will be called serially for further processing of their testimonials and completion of Admission formalities. All are requested to cooperate accordingly.

- When called for, 'SELECTED' candidates must present themselves for admission by 12:00 Noon.
- When called for, 'WAITING' candidates must present themselves for admission by 01:30 P.M.


For Fresher Candidates:
The students intending to take admission in Two-Year B.Ed. Programme for the academic session 2024-26 shall have to produce the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies of the following marksheets and certifiçates at the time of verification and admission:
  • Application form.
  • Secondary (Class X) Examination Admit Card and Passed Mark-sheet & Certificate.
  • Class XII Passed Mark-sheet & Certificate.
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Tech. (Part I / Part II / Part III or all Semesters' Mark-sheets & Certificate or equivalent Degree).
  • M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./M.Tech. (Part I / Part II / Part III or all Semesters' Mark-sheets & Certificate or equivalent Degree).
  • SC/ST/PWD/OBC/EWS Certificate.
  • Photo Identity Card (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card)
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • Rs. 14,100/- (Rupees Fourteen thousand One hundred only) to be paid by online (https://sbcollect.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/payment/listinstitution.htm ) at the time of admission. After verification of all the testimonials (not applicable for self-finance college).
For Deputed Candidates:
Applicants deputed by Schools must submit an attested copy of M.C. resolution/ NOC by HED recording the approval of Service in regard to his/her service with the form.

The Following additional documents are required to be submitted positively on the day of admission at the B.Ed. Programme in institutions under this University:
  • Application form.
  • Release order from the Headmaster / Headmistress / TIC (May be submitted on the day of joining the class).
  • Attested copy of M.C. resolution with regards to his/her deputation, countersigned by D.I. of Schools (Secondary).
  • Certificate from Competent Authority whether the candidate teaches in Class IX or above.
  • Three copies of passport size photographs of the applicant.
  • Deputation form duly filled in (available from the Institution after admission).
  • A certificate with the following information from the TIC / Headmaster / Headmistress (where he/she is serving) is to be submitted and countersigned by the D.I. of Schools of the District concerned:
    • Certified that the School is in receipt of aid on full / deficit / lump sum grant basis or that school in unaided or salary deficit scheme one.
    • Certified that she / he is duly approved teacher.
    • Certified that she / he is being deputed by the school for pursuing two year B.Ed. Course (2025-27).
    Besides the above documents, the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced at the time of admission.
  • Secondary (Class X) Examination Admit Card and Passed Mark-sheet & Certificate.
  • Class XII Passed Mark-sheet& Certificate.
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Tech (Part I / Part II / Part III or all Semesters' Mark-sheets & Certificate equivalent Degree).
  • M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./M.Tech (Part I / Part II / Part III or all Semesters' Mark-sheets & Certificate or equivalent Degree).
  • SC/ST/PWD/OBC/EWS Certificate.
  • Photo Identity Card (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card).
  • Appointment Letter.
  • Joining Letter.
  • Conversion Certificate of Marks of UG and PG (If Applicable).
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • Rs. 14,100/- (Rupees Fourteen thousand One hundred only) to be paid by online (https://sbcollect.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/payment/listinstitution.htm ) at the time of admission. After verification of all the testimonials (not applicable for self-finance college).
Note:
  • Declaration regarding ANTIRAGGING has to be submitted on court paper to the HOD of the relevant department within 15 days from the date of admission.
  • If hostel is required then admission to the hostel, BSAEU will be started after 10 days from the date of admission to the course under BSAEU.
  • If any anomalies will be detected during counseling and even after admission, the candidate's candidature may / will be cancelled.
  • In this published 'List of Candidates (selected and waiting) for B.Ed. Programme of DEPARTMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION, BSAEU for the Session 2026-2028' if any anomalies are noted by the Applicants, then they are requested to intimate the University with supporting documents by 12:00 Noon of 04/10/2026 [Sunday] in the e-mail: wbutteparegistrar@gmail.com. After that no complaints may be considered.
  • Absence on the date and during the allotted time period for counseling and admission will automatically lead to cancellation of a candidate's candidature.
