Notification regarding Postgraduate Admissions through the Darjeeling Hills University Entrance Examinations

Online applications are invited from 14.08.2026 to 27.08.2026 for admissions to the first semester of postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026–2027 at Darjeeling Hills University, through the Darjeeling Hills University Entrance Examinations 2026.

Postgraduate programmes at Darjeeling Hills University include: (1) MA English and Cultural Studies, (2) MA History, (3) MA Mass Communication, Journalism and Media Studies, (4) MSc Mathematics, (5) MA Nepali and Himalayan Cultures, and (5) MA Political Science and Public Policy.

NOTES REGARDING DARJEELING HILLS UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS 2026

1. The Darjeeling Hills University Entrance Examinations 2026 will be held on 31.08.2026 at Darjeeling Hills University, ITI Campus, Bhasmey, Mungpoo, District Darjeeling, West Bengal, India — 734313 (Google Maps).
2. Applicants can download the Admit Card—Application Form cum Admit Card—for their respective examinations through the online portal after completing the application process. Model questions have been uploaded on the University website.
3. Applicants will be required to produce a government issued identity card—Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.—and their Admit Card for registration purposes. Applicants are required to reach and register at the examination venue at least 45 minutes prior to their scheduled examination time.
4. Use of electronic items are strictly banned during the examinations. A locker facility will be made available by the University for the students.
