List of Self-Sponsored Candidates Selected for Admission to M.Tech./M.Plan./M.Sc. Program through Institute Spot Round – 2026

The list of selected candidates along with a waiting list for admission to M.Tech. / M.Plan. / M.Sc. Program through Institute Spot Round – 2026 has been published along with this Notification. The candidates selected for admission in the M.Tech. / M.Plan. / M.Sc. Programs through Institute Spot Round – 2026 are required to report to the Ground floor of Ramanujan Central Library (e-Reading Room), IIEST, Shibpur, on August 28, 2026 (11:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M.), to take admission in physical mode. If any seat remains vacant after the physical admission, wait-listed candidates will be notified separately.

Note:

• Original Documents/Certificates need to be produced during physical verification (Self attested photocopies of all the documents must be submitted):
  • AADHAAR CARD.
  • Proof of Date of Birth.
  • Self-attested photocopies of mark-sheets certificates of the following academic degrees
    a) Secondary (10 level)
    b) Higher Secondary (10+2 level) / Diploma in Engineering
    c) Under Graduate (B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. /B.Sc. etc.).
  • Course Completion Certificate from Institute/University or Undertaking for course completion if the result is awaited (Format is given in CCMT/CCMN 2026 portal).
  • Category Certificate (If applicable) and PWD certificate (If applicable):
    Original Certificate of Category (EWS/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST), if applicable, issued by the competent authority. EWS and OBC (NCL) certificates must be issued on or after 01.04.2026.
    Original Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) issued by Medical Board notified under PWD Act.
  • Migration Certificate (in original: must be submitted within 30/09/2026)
  • Blood group report from pathological laboratory (Original to be submitted)
  • 02 (Two) copies passport size color photograph.
  • Self-declaration for any discrepancy found (Format attached).
  • M.Tech./MOP/M.Sc. Enrollment Form (Format attached).
  All the original documents shall be verified during the physical admission. If anything is found wrong/the applicant is unable to produce the original documents; the candidature shall be canceled.
  
  Only successful verified candidates will be eligible for admission and they need to pay requisite fees as per the following table. The amount may be deposited to UCO Bank, BESU Branch through bank challan. The fees may be paid by scanning the QR Code during admission. Please produce receipt during the physical verification if admission cum first semester tuition fees paid by bank transfer.

• Information for Hostel accommodation:
  The Institute has limited accommodation in hostels. Students admitted in any of the M.Tech./MOP & M.Sc. program can apply for hostel accommodation after the physical reporting. Allotment of seats will be based on the distance (mentioned in the Aadhaar card / Voter identity card) and mode of communication to reach the Institute from the home address of the student.
  After the admission, the candidates should join the respective Department/School/Center immediately.
