PhD Interview Schedule & Provisional Applicant List Released

Date, time, and modality of the interview, and Provisional List of applicants called for interview for admission to the PhD programme under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Law & Management (FISLM), Jadavpur University.

All candidates are requested to carefully read the instructions and tables below for the interview date, time, and modality for the respective Schools/Departments under FISLM, JU
All the candidates who have been called for interviews must report on time (as listed below). Requests to conduct the interview at a later date or at a different time won’t be entertained.
The candidates whose names do not appear in the ‘Provisional List of applicants called for Interview’ either did not qualify in the Written Entrance Test (WRET) or were absent on the date of the examination.
Being called for an interview does not mean that applicants in the list below are eligible for admission. They must satisfy the conditions mentioned in the earlier notice.
All applicants called for an interview must bring all original mark sheets and certificates, as well as a one-page ‘statement of purpose’ at the time of the interview.
The candidates are requested to come prepared with 5 slides (for a PowerPoint presentation of up to 5 minutes) on the proposed research on a pen drive.
Applicants who have qualified NET/SET/GATE and are exempted from the Written Entrance Test (WRET) must carry the relevant documents on the date of the interview. The NET- and GATE-qualified candidates must carry the marks obtained in the NET and GATE examinations, as per the UGC 2022 and JU 2024 PhD Regulations. SET-qualified candidates must carry proof of SET qualification on the date of the interview. If the applicants cannot produce these documents on the date of the interview, their candidature shall stand cancelled.
No offline admissions will be done in the College. Hard Copies of the application form will not be sold in the College.
No free applications will be given for Self-Financed Courses and PG Courses.
