Candidates having passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized Board in Science with Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and having secured at least 75% marks in average obtained in Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics are eligible.
In case of OBC category, minimum requirement of marks is 67.5% in average obtained in the above mentioned three(3) subjects. In case of SC/ST/PD/Sports category, minimum requirement of marks is 56.25% in average obtained in the above mentioned three(3) subjects. The minimum disability in case of the PD candidates is 40%. |
| For Mathematics |
Candidates having passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized Board in Science with Mathematics and best of any two subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science & Statistics and having secured at least 75% marks in average obtained in above mentioned three(3) subjects are eligible.

As per circular Nos. BC-16014/1/82-SC dt.06/08/1984 & BCD-1, D.O.12017/11/89-SCD(R.CELL) dt.09/01/1990 and 1465–BCW/MR–67/10 dt.30/04/2010 from the Government of West Bengal, Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of the States other than West Bengal are not entitled to get the benefit of reserved quota in Educational Institutions in West Bengal.
Such students may get the benefit of reserve quota if they have domicile certificate of 10 years residency in West Bengal.
The reservation for OBC category in the admission process will be carried forward as per the order of Govt. of West Bengal, order no- 945-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18th May, 2026.
Candidates provisionally selected under OBC category should submit a valid NCL certificate (issued by competent authority) which should not be earlier than 18th May, 2026.
OBC candidates of the states other than West Bengal are not entitled to get the benefit of reserved quota in educational institutions in West Bengal, unless they can produce a domicile certificate of 10-year residency issued by competent authority.
