Admission to Six-months Certificate Course in Buddhist Studies, 2026

Centre for Buddhist Studies, Department of Philosophy, Jadavpur University is going to organize a six-months certificate course in Buddhist Studies (Basic level) from February to July 2026 for College, University Teachers, scholars and students of all disciplines. The course classes will be held in online mode, twice in a week in the evening.

Application in plain paper through proper channel may be submitted to Professor Madhumita Chattopadhyay with details of academic qualification along with demand draft of:
• Rs. 2,000/- for Teachers
• Rs. 1,000/- for research scholars
• Rs. 500/- for students
• $360 for Foreign participants
The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Jadavpur University.

The application along with the Demand Draft is to be sent to the address given below.
(Application will not be considered unless the bank draft is submitted.)
Selection will be made on first come first serve basis.
Number of seats is limited to 30 only.
