Admission to Six-Month UGC-Approved Certificate (Evening) Course on Radio Production, 2026

Applications are invited for admission to the Six-Month UGC-Approved Certificate (Evening) Course on ‘Radio Production’. This course offers training in all aspects of producing radio programmes, from research and scripting to anchoring, recording and editing, with a focus on practical, studio-based learning. Number of seats: 30.
Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline.
Course fee: Rs. 15,000/- plus 18% GST (Total Rs. 17,700/-).
Application forms may be obtained from the University Information Counter on payment of Rs. 50/- during working hours (11:00 A.M. to 02:00 P.M. and 02:30 P.M. to 04:00 P.M., Mondays to Fridays excluding holidays).

A walk-in interview will be held on Friday, 13th February, 2026 in the School of Media, Communication and Culture (UG Arts Building, ground floor, near gate no. 4, JU main campus). The interview will be held from 2pm to 4pm. The applicants will be allowed to appear for the interview only on production of the duly filled-in application form, the original marksheet of higher secondary examination with its photocopy and a photo identity card. The final list of selected candidates with details of admission procedure and commencement of classes will be published on or before 20th February, 2026. All the lists and communications will be published on the university website. A candidate who is employed or is pursuing any other course may also apply. Classes will be held in the evening, 3 days in a week.
