Admission to PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing at the School of Cultural Texts & Records, 2026

Applications are invited from graduates in any discipline for a Certificate Course in 'Editing and Publishing' to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts & Records, Jadavpur University, from July–September, 2026. The course will be conducted in Bengali, and is geared towards the Bengali Publishing industry.

Classes will be held in person, three days a week, from 06:00 P.M. to 08:00 P.M.

Course fee: Rs. 12,500/- + 18% GST = Rs. 14,750/-

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline

Deadline for receipt of applications: 11:59 P.M. on 11 June, 2026.

Applicants may have to appear for an Entrance Test.

Scholarships for the Course: A total of five (5) scholarships for the course, amounting to Rs. 20,000/- each, has been endowed by Pradipta Sarkar, an alumna of Jadavpur University and the SCTR. Any applicant to the course may apply for the scholarship, but preference will be given to the following:

• Applicants who are facing financial hardship
• Women and/or marginalized communities
• Those who would have to travel from outside Kolkata in order to attend classes
