Topics to be covered

1. Fabrication and Characterization of Semiconductor Devices

Characterization of semiconductor devices.
Mask Fabrication.
Hardware fabrication for all process of Microelectronics: cleaning, oxidation, diffusion, diffusion, photolithography and Metallization.
Characterization of fabricated device.

2. FPGA Based Prototyping of Digital Circuits

Overview of CMOS logic gates.
Architectural design of digital circuits and logic synthesis.
FPGA-based prototyping.

3. Nano-sensors: Technology and Application

Smart nanomaterial for sensing applications.
Nano-sensor fabrication technologies, Graphene synthesis.
Sensors with loT.

4. Analog MOS Circuit (Theoretical Class + EDA Design)

Single stage MOS amplifier.
Active loads, Current source, current sink, current mirror.
Single stage CMOS OpAmp.
Design using Cadence&EDA-based tool.

5. System Verilog & Timing Analysis (EDA Based)

Introduction to System Verilog.
Timing analysis and debug.
Case study on CPU design.
Design & Simulation using EDA tools.

6. Basics of Analog Circuit – RC Circuit (Theoretical Class + EDA Design)

RC Circuit.
Troubleshooting.
Use of EDA tool for schematic and layout design.

Eligibility

The candidate should be at least B.E. / B.Tech. 2nd Year and above in ECE / IEE / Electrical / CSE / IT / M.Sc. Electronics Science or equivalent.

Course Fee

Rupees 9,000/- + 18% GST = Rs. 10,620/-
(20% discount for JU students Rs. 8,496/- including GST)

In demand draft should be drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY", payable at Kolkata, in any Nationalized Bank.
Once deposited, the course fee cannot be refunded.
Hostel accommodation cannot be provided.
Institute having MoA will be allowed to have discount as per MoA.

Application form will be issued from the IC Centre, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, 3rd Floor, Jadavpur University, Kolkata or download from our website [www.jaduniv.edu.in or https://jadavpuruniversity.in ].
Filled in application form shall be received at IC Centre during Monday to Friday, 11:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M.
