PROVISIONAL LIST OF CANDIDATES CALLED FOR THE ADMISSION TEST
Being called for admission test does not mean that applicants in the list below are eligible for admission.
They must satisfy conditions mentioned earlier as per NCTE.

B.P.Ed. is a two years (Day) residential course as approved by NCTE. Classes will begin at 05:50 A.M. in the morning and continue till evening with a mid-day break.

Candidates who have completed results of B.A./B.Sc. course or equivalent can only apply for admission to B.P.Ed. course.

Candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria as mentioned earlier (as per NCTE) will not be considered for admission, even if he/she is provisionally called for admission test and/or provisionally selected for admission.

As per circular Nos. BC-16014/1/82-SC dt.06/08/1984 & BCD-1, D.O.12017/11/89-SCD(R.CELL) dt.09/01/1990 and 1465–BCW/MR–67/10 dt.30/04/2010 of the Government of West Bengal, the Scheduled Castes/ the Scheduled Tribes of the states other than West Bengal are not entitled to get the benefit of reserved quota in educational institutions in West Bengal unless they can produce Domicile Certificate as a proof for residing in West Bengal for at least 10 years issued by the competent authority.

The reservation for OBC category in the admission process will be carried forward as per the order of Govt. of West Bengal, order no-945-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18th May 2026.
Candidates provisionally selected under OBC category should submit a valid NCL certificate (issued by competent authority) which should not be earlier than 18th May, 2026.
OBC-A and OBC-B candidates of the states other than West Bengal are not entitled to get the benefit of reserved quota in educational institutions in West Bengal, unless they can produce a domicile certificate of 10-year residency issued by competent authority.
The ADMISSION TEST (Practical and Written Test) will be held as per the following schedule:

Total seats: 50 (Male – 38; Female – 12)

Reservations for SC/ST/OBC categories as per State Government rules.

All candidates must produce all original mark-sheets of 10th, 12th & Graduation and certificates at the time of admission test.

All candidates have to submit the recent Medical Certificate in original at the time of admission test (if not submitted with the form) else they shall not be allowed for admission test.

Written test will be held immediately after the Practical Test is over.
Selection Procedure:

Practical:
3 fitness factor: 50mtr. run, Standing broad jump and 4x10mtr shuttle run: 3x10 = 30
Sports/Games Specialization: Any 1(one) game from Athletics (any one event), Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, Netball, Handball, Yoga, Combative games: 1x10 = 10

Theory exam for final selection (MCQ, brief answer type, short notes): 50 marks

Academic score (05 for Secondary and 05 for Higher Secondary examination): 10 marks
Full marks: 100

Kindly note the applicants who have not submitted the final grade card and those who have not submitted the hard-copy of the application form in due date are not included for the provisional list of admission test.
