Notice regarding fees payment for admission to Ph.D. Programme under Faculty of Arts 2026

As approved by the Vice-Chancellor, dated 05.05.2026, all candidates taking admission to the Ph.D. Programme under the Faculty Council of Arts, Jadavpur University, for the session 2025–2026 are hereby informed that, the admission fees may be paid in two installments.

  • Rs. 12,500/- must be paid at the time of admission.
  • The remaining Rs. 12,500/- must be paid within one year from the date of admission.
Candidates who wish to avail themselves of the installment facility must submit an application to the Dean, Faculty Council of Arts, stating the reason for requesting the installment facility.

Candidates who wish to pay the full fees at the time of admission may also do so.
