Admission in the Evening Certifictae Courses offered by the School of Languages and Linguistics
List of Applicants Provisionally Shortlisted

• The Lists given below are provisional and are subject to:
  a. The fulfilling of the eligibility criteria as notified earlier.
  b. The verification of the equivalence of marks/degree from other universities to those of this university, wherever and whenever applicable.
  c. Correction in the merit position due to any error, if any.
• If at the time of counseling/admission and verification of marks, it is found by the university authority that
  a. a student has provided incorrect information in his/her online application form, his/her application and offer of provisional admission shall be liable to be cancelled;
  b. If a student does not have completed his/her results at Higher Secondary/10+2 or equivalent level, his/her application shall be cancelled even if he/she is provisionally selected for admission.
• For any candidate, an increase in marks due to post-publication review/scrutiny after the closing dates of application for admissions to the Evening courses for the academic session 2025-26, shall NOT be considered, and his/her merit position shall NOT be changed.
• As per the order of Govt. of West Bengal [order no: 434-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 dated 16/7/2020], all the original documents of applicants will be verified when they report for classes at University campus.
• Provisional admission of a candidate will stand cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted on-line.
• SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PD quota as per State Govt. rules.
• No separate intimation will be sent to individual candidate.
• Candidates are advised to take admission in one course of study only, even if their names appear in more than one course. The classes are likely to overlap.
• If a candidate fails to submit the fees online on the specified date for admission, the next candidate in order of merit will be considered for admission.
• Enrolled candidates will be intimated about their classes through the email addresses which they have given during their form fill up.
• Classes will be conducted in physical mode.
• Request for fee wavering cannot be entertained under any circumstances.
• Candidates in the waitlist may opt for other languages if they wish so, however, a separate application should be emailed to (dir.language@jadavpuruniversity.in) The Director, School of Languages and Linguistics within 20/01/2025 In this regard.
