Admission to M.Sc. Programme in Genome Science, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, 2026-27

• Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the M.Sc. Programme in Genome Science and M.Sc. Programme in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (under NEP 2020) for the session 2026-2027.
• Eligibility:

  M.Sc. in Genome Science Intake: 30	3 years B.Sc. Honours (other than NEP) / Major (under NEP 2020) or Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Genetics, Biotechnology, Agriculture
  M.Sc. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology Intake: 30	3 years B.Sc. Honours (other than NEP) / Major (under NEP 2020) or Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electronic Science, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Nanosciences, Material Science

  • Reservation of seats as per Govt. rules.
  • Appearing candidates may also apply. The final result should be published on or before 3rd August, 2026.
• Merit List Preparation Criteria:
  • Merit List will be will be based on average SGPA. In case of tie, aggregate marks of best five subjects, obtained in Higher Secondary Examination, will be taken into consideration.
  • In cases where the results of the 6th Semester examinations are not published on or before the date of online application, applicants shall be permitted to submit their applications on the basis of the marks/SGPA obtained up to the 5th Semester.
  • For candidates whose 6th Semester results are not available at the time of application, the provisional merit score shall be calculated on the basis of the average SGPA obtained in the first five semesters.
  • For candidates whose 6th Semester results are available on the date of submission of application form, will submit their 6th Semester results, and the merit score shall be calculated onthe basis of the average SGPA obtained across all six semesters, and the final merit list shall be prepared accordingly.
  • Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination before 2024 are not eligible to apply.
