Decentralized Counselling and Spot Admission to the 1st Year of B.Tech. Programme in CSE/ECE/EIE/IT (2026-2027)

Venue:

• For CSE:
  The seminar room of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering,
  University of Kalyani,
  Kalyani-741235, Nadia, West Bengal.
• For ECE/EIE/IT:
  The Old Office Building of the Department of Engineering & Technological Studies,
  University of Kalyani,
  Kalyani-741235, Nadia, West Bengal.

• 2 passport size colour photos.
• A photo identity card (AADHAAR / Voter Id / PAN / Driving License / Passport).
• The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
  • Admit Card of WBJEE 2026
  • Rank Card of WBJEE 2026
  • Class-Xth Admit Card / Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
  • Mark sheet of Class-Xth Examination
  • Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination
  • Valid Domicile Certificate in WBJEE prescribed format for West Bengal domicile candidates,if applicable
  • Valid SC/ST/OBC/EWS/TFW/PwD certificate issued by the Government of West Bengalorconcerned authority, if applicable. OBC certificates must be issued on or after 01.04.2026. Itmustclearly mention that the candidate belongs to non-Creamy layer (if OBCseat becomes availableduring counselling).
• Tuition fee (Details available in Appendix–I (CSE) and Appendix–II (DETS)) to be paid through debit/credit card or UPI.

• Two Affidavits related to anti ragging compliance (both students copy and guardian's copy) – format attachedinthe Appendix-III .
• The Medical Certificate for General Health, Eye and Blood Group (Original) to be obtained onlyfromGazettedGovernment Medical Officer / Medical Officer of Government Undertaking in the appropriate letter headoftheMedical Practitioner – format attached in the Appendix-IV .

• Candidates must report at the counselling venue at least one hour before the scheduled commencementofcounselling.
• The venue will be closed once counselling begins. No late entry will be permitted.
• Physical presence during counselling is mandatory for consideration for admission or inclusion inthewaitinglistfor subsequent rounds, if any.
• In exceptional circumstances, a candidate may authorize a close relative to attend counselling ontheir behalf.The authorized representative must carry a duly signed authorization letter, the candidate’s original documents(wherever required), and all other relevant documents for verification.

  * In case of any discrepancy in the above list, the candidate must report thesamebefore the commencement of the counselling. Once the counsellingstarts,nocorrections or changes will be allowed.
