Notice for Admission through WBJEE Counselling 2026 to the 1st Year of 4-Year B.Tech. Programmes

Eligible candidates, who have been allotted seats through WBJEE Counselling 2026 at the University of Kalyani for admission to the first year of B.Tech. programmes in E.C.E., E.I.E., I.T., and C.S.E. are hereby instructed to follow the schedule below for document verification, reporting, and admission.

• To complete the document verification process the students must carry: The following documents in original along with one photo copy of each document:
  • Provisional Allotment Letter & seat acceptance letter of WBJEE 2026
  • Admit Card of WBJEE 2026
  • Rank Card of WBJEE 2026
  • Class-Xth Admit Card/ Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
  • Marksheet of Class-Xth Examination
  • Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination
  • Valid Domicile Certificate (issued by e-district, Govt. of W.B.) for West Bengal Domicile seats.
  • Valid SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal, if applicable. Candidates belonging to OBC/EWS category must submit NonCreamy layer certificates issued by designated officials of Govt. of West Bengal on or after 01.04.2026.
  • TFW certificate as prescribed by WBJEEB for TFW candidates.
  • Duly filled in YES/ NO up gradation form (as applicable) as per WBJEEB prescribed format.
  • Proof of APAAR ID (Optional).
• To complete the admission process the students must carry:
  • 2 passport size color photos
  • The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
    • Provisional Allotment Letter &seat acceptance letter of WBJEE 2026
    • Admit Card of WBJEE 2026
    • Rank Card of WBJEE 2026
    • Class-Xth Admit Card/Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
    • Marksheet of Class-Xth Examination
    • Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination
    • Valid Domicile Certificate (issued by e-district, Govt. of W.B.) for West Bengal Domicile seats.
    • Valid SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal, if applicable. Candidates belonging to OBC/EWS category must submit NonCreamy layer certificates issued by designated officials of Govt. of West Bengal on or after 01.04.2026.
    • TFW certificate as prescribed by WBJEEB for TFW candidates.
    • Duly filled in NO up gradation form as per WBJEEB prescribed format.
    • Proof of APAAR ID (Optional)
    • Aadhar No.
  • Two Affidavits related to anti ragging compliance (both students copy and guardian's copy) – format attached in the Appendix-I .
  • The Medical Certificate for General Health, Eye and Blood Group(Original) – format attached in the Appendix-II .
  • Fee payable at the time of admission through online/digital mode – details mentioned in the Appendix-III .
  All the candidates must carry mobile phone with the SIM number registered during application to WBJEEB to receive OTP at the final stage of admission confirmation.

• Eligibility Criteria:
  The candidate must fulfill all the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
  • Candidate must hold a valid merit rank in the WBJEE-2026,
  • Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions as stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board and Govt. of West Bengal.
  • Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Regulations for different Programmes of the Faculty of Engineering Technology & Management, University of Kalyani under the section B for Bachelor’s Degree Programme.
• General Instructions:
  • All photocopies MUST be self-attested.
  • If no tuition fee is paid within the scheduled date(s), the candidature may be canceled automatically, without further information.
  • If at any stage of admission the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incomplete, false or incorrect, the University of Kalyani shall have full authority to cancel the admission without further notice.
  • University has limited Hostel seats. For admission to hostel the candidate has to submit physical copy of the duly filled in prescribed form to the DSW, KU. Mere application does not guarantee allotment of hostel seats.
