Admission to M.P.Ed. Programme, 2026-2027

Online applications are invited for admission to the M.P.Ed. (2 years full time) Programme approved by N.C.T.E. of the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, for the session 2026-2027.

Eligibility: As per NCTE Guidelines
Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
OR
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks.

Intake: 40 (Reservation of seats as per Govt. rules).
Distribution of seats:
Total Seat - 40
A) For Fresh Candidates = 37
B) For Deputed Teacher = 02
C) For Sports Quota = 01

Admission Procedure:
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Field Test, Academic Qualifications and Interview.
Total 100 Marks

• Practical Test: 40 marks
  A) Standing Broad Jump = 10,
  B) 50 mt. Run = 10,
  C) Shot Put = 10,
  D) 800 mt. Run for Boys / 400 mt. Run for Girls = 10
• Academic Achievement: 50 marks
  A) Madhyamik / Equivalent = 10
  B) Higher Secondary / Equivalent = 10
  C) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. / Equivalent = 20 (Do not put the marks of B.P.Ed. examination in this column)
  D) M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. / Equivalent = 10
• Interview: 10 marks
