Admission to various Academic Programmes (ODL mode Offline), 2026-27 July Cycle

Applications are invited through online from the eligible candidates for admission to the following UGC approved UG / PG Degree programmes, Post Graduate Certificate, Under Graduate Diploma & certificate programmes under ODL (Open & Distance Learning mode) mode for the academic year 2026-27 July Session.

Candidates are instructed to fill the form through online by uploading the required documents in the Online Admission Portal (https://ksouportal.com/views/StudentHome.aspx ). Candidates shall check the required eligibility for the programmes and get the admission in the opted regional centers or Headquarters (Mysuru).

Program Details:

Academic eligibility criteria, documents to be submitted / uploaded & Fee Structure will be available in the concerned ODL Programmes Prospectus. Programme Guides are made available in the university official website www.ksoumysuru.ac.in . Candidates are instructed to apply through online and get the admission only from KSOU Head Office, Mysuru or from the nearest designated KSOU Regional Centre in the state.

Students may avail Pre Admission counseling only from the KSOU approved Learner Support Centres listed in www.ksoumysuru.ac.in No provision for admission to be made in the Learner support centres.

University notifies the fee for admission to each academic programme in the official website. Students are instructed to pay the prescribed fee only through online. University is not responsible for any excess fee paid by the student/parents. University has not authorized any person or institution or firms etc. to act on behalf of the University.

Direct Admission to 2nd / 3rd Year UG / PG Programmes will also be made asper the norms with subject to study additional subjects (if suggested) to students already finished their 1st / 2nd year UG / PG Programmes & discontinued for reasons.

Admissions will be made available through online from 22/06/2026 the last date for admission will be 15/09/2026.

SC & ST category eligible candidates may get the admission under FES scheme by paying the prescribed fees subject to reimbursement from the Social Welfare Department through State Scholarship Portal. Their admissions are made as per the conditions laid down by the Scholarship Cell of the University.
