M.Tech. Programme in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the M.Tech. Programme in Computer Science & Engineering for the session 2026-2027 in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Kalyani, Nadia District, West Bengal.
Total Seats: 18
- Reservation as per existing rules and regulations. Any further direction from the higher authorities regarding reservation policy will be duly implemented.

Eligibility criteria for M.Tech. (CSE) admission 2026-2027:

B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science & Technology / Information Technology.
Or
MCA
Or
M. Sc. in Computer Science
Or
M.Sc. in Data Science
[Final year students fulfilling the above eligibility criteria can also apply]
Formula for merit list preparation for M.Tech. (CSE) admission 2026-2027:
Merit scores out of 100 = 30% x G + 50% x M + 20% x I
Where,
G = Valid GATE score out of 100 (The candidates without GATE will get 0 marks here).
M = Written admission test marks out of 100.
I = Interview marks out of 100.
Application fee:
Application fee is Rs. 300/- for General candidates & OBC Category and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates, for differently able (PD) candidates Rs. 120/-.

M.Tech. Programme in Communication Engineering (CE)

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.Tech. Course in Communication Engineering (2 years, 4 semester full time course) for the session 2026-2027 in the Department of Engineering & Technological Studies, University of Kalyani, Nadia District, West Bengal.
Total Seats: 10
- Reservation as per existing rules and regulations. Any further direction from the higher authorities regarding reservation policy will be duly implemented.
- Relaxation as per rules.
Eligibility criteria for M.Tech. (Communication Engineering) admission 2026-2027:

B.Tech. / B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Or
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Or
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Or
Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or M.Sc. in Electronics Science/Computer Sceince.
Final year appearing candidates may also apply. However, at the time of admission, they must show the final marksheet.

Merit list will be published on the basis of following assessment of candidates (out of 100 marks):

Marks obtained in Secondary Examination or Equivalent Examination	Out of 10

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.Tech. Course in Information Technology (2 years, 4 semester full time course) for the session 2026-27 in the Department of Engineering & Technological Studies, University of Kalyani, Nadia District, West Bengal.

- Reservation as per existing rules and regulations. Any further direction from the higher authorities regarding reservation policy will be duly implemented.

Eligibility Criteria any one of the following:
- B.Tech./B.E. in Information Technology Or Computer Science Or Software Engineering Or Electronics & Instrumentation Engg. Or Electronics & Communication Engg.
- MCA preceded by BCA or B.Sc. Honours (Maths/Stat).
- M.Sc. Information Technology/Computer Science preceded by B.Sc. Honours (Information Technology/Computer Science/Maths/Stat).
