In-House B.Tech. Decentralize Admission Notice 2026

In reference with the Memo No. 380 DTED-18099/6/2023-JD(DTED)-DTED dated 12-10-2026, it is notified for information of all admission seekers concerned that a few seats are lying vacant in the following MAKAUT, WB In-House AICTE (UG) courses for the academic session 2026-2027:

Under Graduate courses:

• B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
• B. Tech in Information Technology
• B. tech in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology)
• B. Tech in Industrial Engineering

The eligibility for the above courses are:

#Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Elecronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

Candidates is required to pass 10 + 2 exams with the above subjects and obtained at least 45% (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Link will be available on and from 14-10-2026 (Wednesday) to 27-10-2026 (Wednesday). Information relating to vacant seats are attached with this notice.

Merit list will be published by the University on 28-10-2026. All merit listed candidates have to report physically along with the requisite documents (both original and photocopies) of admission eligibility such as:

• 10 + 2 Mark sheet
• DOB Proof
• Valid Caste certificate (where applicable)
• Adhaar card
• Domicile Certificate

at the Administrative Building, Room Number 103 (visitor’s lounge) in Haringhata Campus of the University. Admission seekers should keep themselves ready for online payment of Admission fees. The said fee can be checked from https://makautwb.ac.in/page.php?id=220

This has got reference to the approval of the Competent Authority in File No. REG-ADM/NOTICE/2026.
