Notification with Provisionally Selected candidates Lists for Counselling-Cum-Provisional Admission 2026-27 (NON-CUET)

In accordance with the Admission Notification and Guidelines vide No. F.15(7)/MBBU/Acad./Admission/ PG/ 2025 (Vol.-VII)/1367-79 dated July 24, 2026 and subsequent Notification No. F.15(7)/MBBU/Acad./Admission/ PG/ 2025 (Vol.-VII)/1565-74 dated July 31, 2026, the MBB University has published the list of provisionally selected candidates in order of merit for Counseling-cum-Provisional Admission (Non-CUET) to M.A. in English, M.A. in Political Science, M.Sc. in Mathematics, Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc.) and Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc.) Courses during the Academic Session 2026-2027 and annexed herewith at Annexure-1, Annexure-2, Annexure-3, Annexure-4 & Annexure-5. The Counseling-cum-Provisional Admission is scheduled to be held on August 18, 2026 at the Academic Block of MBB University.

All the eligible candidates willing to take admission in the following courses are requested to appear in the Counselling-cum-Provisional Admission as per schedule mentioned below:

The Counselling-cum-Provisional Admission will be in order of merit and as per reservation policy of Government of Tripura. Each candidate is to deposit requisite fees through QR Code/ POS machine for using Debit/ Credit cards available during the Counselling-cum-Provisional Admission and to produce Original Mark Sheets and relevant Certificates with 01(one) set photocopies (viz. Madhyamik Admit Card, Madhyamik/ Secondary Marksheet, H.S. (+2)/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examination Marksheet, Graduation all Semester Marksheets including back paper (in any), Caste Certificate, PWD (Person with Disability) certificate, PRTC/ Nationality Certificate etc.) at the time of admission.

If any candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification vide No. F.15(7)/MBBU/Acad./Admission/ PG/ 2025 (Vol.-VII)/1367-79 dated July 24, 2026 (even if his/her name is there in the Provisional Common Merit List) he/she will not be allowed to take admission.

No candidates will be entertained for Counselling-cum-Provisional Admission after the due time of reporting.

The regular classes shall commence from August 20, 2026.
