Applications are invited for Undergraduate Executive Programmes (FYUGP Regulations-2024) and Post Graduate Executive Programmes (PG CSS Regulations- 2019) under Department of Life Long Learning and Extension through Online Submission for the Academic Year 2025-2026. 2	B.A. Malayalam

3	B.A. History	Persons who are permanent residents of/or domiciled in Kerala and who have passed the Pre-degree examination of Mahatma Gandhi University / Higher Secondary examination (Kerala Govt.) or any other examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent.

Faculty of Commerce
8	B.Com.	Persons who are permanent residents of/or domiciled in Kerala and who have passed the Pre-degree examination of Mahatma Gandhi University / Higher Secondary examination (Kerala Govt.) or any other examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent or diploma in Commercial practice (Govt. of Kerala).
Post Graduate Programmes
Faculty of Language and Literature
1	M.A. English	Graduation in English under (Model I/II/III), Graduates in other faculties of language literature, in all Faculties of Sciences, Social Sciences, Oriental Studies or Fine Arts, who have taken not less than 3 papers under Part-I (English) / 6 papers in English Common Course-I OR Graduates in English Language and Literature Model-II OR Graduates in English Literature and Communication Studies Model-III (Double Main) OR Graduates in BA Communicative English Model-III (Single Main) OR Graduates in English Literature, Communication Studies and Journalism Model-III (Triple Main).
2	M.A. Malayalam	Graduation in Malayalam under Part-III OR Graduates in all faculties who have taken Malayalam as Additional Language / Second Language under Part-II with 3 papers-300 marks OR Graduates in all faculties who have taken Malayalam under Common Course-II (Four Common Papers).
Candidates who have passed B.Com. Model-I, Model-I /III, Vocational B.A./B.Sc. (Model II/III CBCSS & Pre-CBCSS except B.A. Communicative English Model-III Triple main pre-CBCSS pattern) degree programmes and New generation programmes are not eligible to apply for admission to M.A. English &Malayalam based on the marks obtained in Part I/Common Course-I - English or Part-II / Common Course-II - Second Language, since the content of Language & Literature of Part-I & Part-II of these degree programmes is not sufficient enough to pursue the above PG Programme .
Faculty of Social Sciences
3	M.A. History	Graduation in any subject in the Faculty of Social Sciences OR Graduation in English (Model I/II/III), Law.
4	M.A. Economics	Graduation in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics (as Core/Main – Model I/II) OR B.Sc Degree holders in Co-operation and Banking from Kerala Agricultural University.
5	M.A. Philosophy	Graduates in Philosophy, Arts, Social Sciences OR Graduation in English (Model I/II/III) OR Any Degree including Degree in any branches of Engineering and Medical Sciences.
6	M.A. Political Science	Graduates in Political Science, History, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Journalism, Public Administration, Geography, Archaeology, English or other Social Science.
7	M.A. Sociology	Any Degree recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.
Faculty of Commerce
8	M.Com. (Finance & Taxation / Marketing and International Business / Management and Information Technology)	All B.Com., BBA, BBM Graduates. Candidates who have passed B.Com. (Triple Main), B.Com. (Electronic Data Processing and Computer Application of Kerala University) and B.Com. (Triple Main), B.Com. Model-II, BBA, BBM students of other approved Universities are eligible for M.Com. admission.

Original Certificates:
Candidates should possess the following original documents before the online registration.
* Original Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination/Original Provisional Certificate+ Mark list of the qualifying examination.

Note: All Applicants ,Who have passed their plus two examination from CBSE / Council for ISCE, should produce Pass Certificate besides Mark list, Transfer Certificate & Migration Certificate.

* Original Transfer Certificate
* Original migration certificate (If the qualifying examination is not from Mahatma Gandhi university).

* Eligibility Certificate (other university)
Note: Eligibility certificate should be obtained (through online application only) from The Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Please visit http://certificates.mgu.ac.in; Phone Number-0481 2733503 (AcD Section).

Note: Academic eligibility should be satisfied as on the date of submission of Application Submission of Online Application commences on 15/10/2025.

Applicants are required to remit the registration fee through the MGU e-payment portal at the time of the submission of online application. The registration fee is Rs. 5,000/- for UG programmes and Rs. 7,500/- for PG programmes.

The closing dates for the online submission are as follows:

Without fine	Up to 15/12/2025
With a fine of Rs. 1,225/-	Up to 20/01/2026
With a Superfine of Rs. 2,440/-	Up to 30/01/2026
