PG & PhD Notification regarding Special Registration & Examination Forms

It has come to the notice of this Department that a few students have not completed their University Registration process, despite the registration portal having remained open for a considerable period. It is hereby informed that students who have not completed their University Registration will not be permitted to fill up the Examination Form for the forthcoming Post Graduate and Ph.D. Odd Semester Examinations, 2026.

All concerned Departments & Affiliated Colleges of Mizoram University are hereby directed to instruct the students who haven't completed registration and exam forms fill up to complete their University Registration and Exam Forms within the special window provided specifically for them, as per the schedule given below:

All concerned Departments & Affiliated Colleges shall ensure that the students complete their registration within the stipulated period and that the registration details are duly verified by the concerned Departments & Colleges.

Submission of Examination Forms

Further, it is hereby informed that, specifically for the above-mentioned students who complete their registration within the prescribed period, the Examination Form fill-up window shall be opened from 4^th November, 2026 to 7^th November, 2026, with Department & College verification up to 9^th November, 2026.

It is further informed that the above extension and special arrangements shall be treated as the final opportunity for the students concerned. No further extension, relaxation or consideration of requests on this ground shall ordinarily be entertained after the expiry of the above-mentioned deadlines. Departments & Colleges are, therefore, advised to take the matter seriously and ensure that all eligible students complete the necessary processes within the stipulated time.

Submission of Details of Students Facing Examination Form Fill-up Issues

A format for submission of details of students who are unable to fill up the Examination Form due to genuine technical or other related issues is enclosed herewith as Annexure–A which is to be submitted latest by 27^th October, 2026 (Tuesday).

1. Fill in Annexure–A only in respect of those students who are genuinely unable to fill up the Examination Form due to specific issues.
2. Ensure that all particulars furnished in the Annexure are complete, accurate and duly verified by the Departments and Colleges.

Departments and Colleges are specifically advised not to include the names of students who have no genuine issue in completing the University Registration or Examination Form submission process. Any incorrect or unnecessary submission shall be the responsibility of the concerned Departments and Colleges.

All concerned are directed to comply with the above instructions strictly within the stipulated timelines.
