Patliputra University prepares the merit list on the basis of
the marks obtained by students in the qualifying examination
(Eligibility).
-
While selecting subjects, students can choose subjects according
to their preference and eligibility.
They should ensure that the subject selected as the first preference
should be the one in which they are most interested,
because once selected, changing the subject may not be possible.
More than one subject can be selected in order of preference.
-
In Patliputra University, selection for admission in Regular
undergraduate courses is based on Intermediate marks
(for BFA and BBA-LL.B., selection is based on marks obtained in
the qualifying examination).
Admission in Self-finance courses is also based on marks obtained
in the qualifying examination.
Reservation rules applicable at the time of admission will be followed.
Students can choose colleges according to preference through the
university website.
After the release of the first allotment list
(Allotment Letter),
students must complete online admission as per the college allotted.
After admission, students have to visit the allotted college for
document verification with all original certificates/documents
within the prescribed date and time.
-
After admission through counselling, if a student feels that they
have not received admission according to their first preference,
they can use the Slide/Subject Preference option.
Through this option, the student can move upward according to
higher preference in the next allotment list
(Allotment Letter),
subject to seat availability.
-
Keep the Allotment Letter safe after admission because it will be
required during counselling and admission.
-
Once the application form is finally submitted,
it cannot be corrected again.
Therefore, fill the form carefully and correctly.
-
After Login, check the eligibility criteria in the
Find Your Programme section before selecting subjects.
