PhD Admission 2026-27 Application Form, Eligibility, Last Date

Online applications are invited for the following Ph.D. (Tech.) / Ph.D. (Science) programmes at ICT Mumbai, ICT-IOC Bhubneswar and ICT Marathwada Jalna campuses.

Online application forms will be available from 15th April 2026 on https://ictmumbaiadm.samarth.edu.in/ Last date of submitting online application is 8th May 2026. "The link for the online application submission will close at 5:00 pm sharp". Schedule regarding ICT entrance examination for all these programmes at all the three campuses will be announced separately. Applicants are requested to visit ICT website from time to time related to updates regarding this

NOTE:
  • There is no EWS quota for Ph.D. programme.
  • Income Certificate is not mandatory for the Ph.D. programme.
  • There is no Single Girl Child quota for Ph.D. programme.
  • There will be single application form for all the three campuses for same program.
  • Separate application forms must be filled for different programmes.
  • Separate application form is also applicable for Direct Ph.D. (Tech.) after Bachelor’s degree and regular Ph.D. (Tech./Sci.) after Masters degree. Applicants are requested to select the proper form.
  • Valid GATE score and Non-GATE only M.Chem.Engg, M.E. (Pla.Engg.), M.Tech. (Textile, Food, Dyes, Polymer, Surface Coating Tech., Oils, Pharma, Green Tech, Perfumery and Flavour Tech.) degree programme.

The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission

Please read the following instructions carefully:
  • Please refer to section 3.3 in the Information Manual PG and Ph.D. Admission 2026-2027 for eligibility criteria and other realated information regarding all the abovementioned programs. Admission Handbook is available on www.ictmumbai.edu.in .
  • Fees for submission of a single form for a particular programme at ICT is Rs. 2000/- for Open category students and Rs. 1000/- for Reserved category students. Fees for reserved candidate is applicable for candidates from state of Maharashtra only. Payment of this fee should be made online (extra online charges may apply)
  • Direct Ph.D. (Tech.) programmes are offered in limited branches only. Please refer the Information Manual PG and Ph.D. Admission 2026-2027.
  • The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission. To become eligible for admission to these programmes , the candidates will have to qualify entrance examination conducted by Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. Subject to availability of fellowships. The syllabus for Ph.D. (Tech.) / Ph.D (Science) entrance examination for various programmes for the academic year 2026-2027 is available on ICT website www.ictmumbai.edu.in
  • Schedule regarding ICT entrance examination for these programmes at all the three campuses. Applicants are requested to visit ICT website from time to time related to updates regarding this.
  • For more information, candidates shall refer to Handbook 2026-2027 on ICT website http://ictmumbai.edu.in. The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is mandatory for submission of Application from AY 2026-27 for all programmes. Please visit https://www.abc.gov.in/ for creating ABC ID, if you do not have one already.
  • It is the responsbility of the applicant to check eligibility criteria, validity of required documents and other requirements, before registration and payment of application fee.
  • Applicants must register freshly for admissions 2026-27. Any queries related to use of previous registration details will not be entertained at all.
  • For any queries candidates are requested to write email on admission@ictmumbai.edu.in only. No WhatsApp inquiries or phonecalls to any of the admission staff will be entertained.
  • AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) will be available for student who takes admission at ICT and has a valid GATE score. The admission process will be as per the Guidelines/eligibility details for AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) as decided by the AICTE for the academic year 2026-2027
  • The details about available Fellowship for Ph.D. with each department will be displayed at the time of entrance examination.
