With reference to the Ph.D. Admission Brochure 2026-27, (Para no. 2: Procedure for Admission to Ph.D. Programmes published by the University & Para no. 11.9 (pg. 48): Additional Eligibility Criteria of USIC&T), all candidates who wish to claim exemption from the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) for admission in the Ph.D. Programme of USIC&T are required to submit the following documents latest by 15/04/2026.

a) A copy of the filled online application form or proof of successful submission of application
b) Application for Exemption from Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET)
c) Copy of valid document for Fellowship/Scholarship in UGC-NET (JRF)/GATE
d) Valid UGC-NET document mentioning the categories (1/2/3) in accordance with the UGC circular no. F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee/2024(NET)/1406-48 dated 27.3.24
e) Copy of Certificate/Mark sheet of the qualifying degree. Candidates appearing for final exam of qualifying degree may submit mark sheets up to the penultimate semester.
f) Undertaking by applicant of fulfilling the eligibility criteria/conditions as lay down in Ph.D. Admission Brochure 2026 (format enclosed).

The above-mentioned documents (self-attested) for PET exemption may be submitted via email at phd.usict@ipu.ac.in or in hard copy latest by 15/04/2026, on all working days (Monday-Friday) between 10:00am to 05:00pm at the following address:
