Venue: Engineering Wing Building, Near Gate No. 2 (Back Gate), Punjabi University, Patiala

First Semester Fee has to be paid On-the-Spot in the Counselling, if students has been allocated a seat in counselling

Students are advised to visit Punjabi University Website https://pupadmissions.ac.in and https://engineering.pupadmissions.ac.in for latest updates/instructions.

Note:

• To appear in the Second Counselling for admission to B.Tech. Course at Engineering Wing, Punjabi University, Patiala candidate needs to apply on “https://pupadmissions.ac.in ” from 4th June 2026 onwards. The Admission Portal will be closed at 5:00 PM on 6th June 2026 and reopen from 9th June 2026 at 5 PM (if seats remain vacant). Those who have already applied for the first counseling need not to apply again and can appear in the second counseling. They can edit the branch preferences; if any.
• . The interested Candidate (who have not applied earlier) will have to register-online on the above website after paying the Counselling/Processing Fee [Rs. 800/- for SC/ST Category Candidates and Rs. 1500/- for all other Categories]. The Counselling/Processing fee for registration can be paid online modes, like Net-banking, Debit/Credit Card and other modes, as mentioned on the admission portal.
• At the time of counselling, the seat allotted to the candidate will be confirmed only upon deposition of full course fee for the first semester on the spot, failing which, the offered seat shall stand cancelled and will be offered to the next applicant in the merit list. The course fees is to be deposited in the form of DEMAND DRAFT(s) in favor of REGISTRAR, PUNJABI UNIVERSITY, PATIALA Payable at Patiala as per the details mentioned in instructions given on next page.
• Applicants must read and adhere to the attached instructions regarding counselling.
• The Eligibility, Fee details and Seat matrix mentioning seats available against different categories are provided in the Handbook of Information (For Engineering Programmes): 2026-2027, which is available at the University Admission Website https://pupadmissions.ac.in .
• The applicants must come in person for attending the counselling as per schedule, with all the required certificates / documents in the prescribed formats along with course fees, as mentioned in the Handbook of Information (For Engineering Programmes): 2026-2027.

Candidates need to report at the office of respective department (as following) as per their First Branch Preference (Civil/ECE/ECM/ME with Minor in CSE)

PM&T Merit: Merit of aggregate of three subjects of 10+2, Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one subject amongst Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Electronics/ Entrepreneurship and etc.
