Notification for the Admission to 2-Year Post Graduate Courses in Different Subjects as recommended by NEP, 2020 under the Faculty Council for Post Graduate Studies in Arts / Science / Commerce for the Academic Session 2026-28 (2nd Phase).

IMPORTANT DATES / PROVISIONAL ADMISSION ACTIVITY CALENDAR OF PG ADMISSION, 2026:

The following Admission Activity Calendar will be followed for conducting the stages of Admission. The University can revise the calendar, if needs arise and the same will be notified on the university website. Academic Session of the Post graduate Programmes in Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University for the academic session 2026-28 has commenced with effect on and from 1^st August, 2026.

31/08/2026	Submission of final report after Verification of Data (Students of 80% and 20% category) by the Admission Board of the Concerned Department
Merit List Publication & Admission for 80% Category and for 20% category
01/09/2026	Publication of Provisional Merit list for 80% and for 20%Category and Correction/ Addition of Data if required
02/09/2026 to 03/09/2026	Publication of 1^st Merit list and On-line admission for 80% Category and for 20 % Category simultaneously
04/09/2026 to 05/09/2026	Publication of 2^nd Merit list and On-line admission for 80% Category and for 20 % Category simultaneously
07/09/2026	Joining to the 1st Semester classes of all PG courses and Document Verification for Provisionally admitted candidates
08/09/2026 to 09/09/2026	Publication of 3^rd Merit list and On-line admission for 80% Category and for 20 % Category simultaneously for rest vacant seats if still exist
10/09/2026 to 11/09/2026	Publication of 4^th Merit list and On-line admission for 80% Category and for 20 % Category simultaneously for rest vacant seats if still exist
12/09/2026 to 13/09/2026	Publication of 5^th Merit list and On-line admission for 80% Category and for 20 % Category simultaneously for rest vacant seats if still exist
