Admissions through CUET (PG) – 2026
Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Programmes for the Academic Session 2026–27

Applications are invited from candidates who have appeared in Common University Entrance Test [CUET (PG)-2026] conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma) and Postgraduate (PG) Programmes of Tripura University for the Academic Session 2026–27. The programmes are offered in the Faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Literature, Music & Fine Arts, and Commerce, Law, Management & Information Science.

Candidates who are successful in CUET(PG)-2026 and who wish to apply to their preferred Postgraduate and Postgraduate Diploma Programmes, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria must login to the Tripura University admission portal: https://tripuraunivcuet.samarth.edu.in/

In case any candidate wants to correct any information provided by them in the registration portal, they may do so before payment of the registration fee. Once the registration fee is paid, no further correction can be made in the registration portal.

There will be a one-time Registration Fee of Rs. 200/- for UR / OBC applicants and Rs. 100/- for SC / ST / EWS applicants.

All selected candidates need to report to the respective departments for physical verification of their original documents before admission.

Admissions shall be strictly based on CUET scores and fulfillment of eligibility criteria prescribed in the e-Prospectus 2026–27.

Admission Schedule 2026

The University may announce more rounds subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any.

For admission of the Non-CUET candidates (if any) and International candidates a separate portal will be notified.

Criteria for selection of Non-CUET based candidate(s) will be decided by the department concerned.

Important Instructions

1. Detailed information regarding programmes, eligibility criteria and admission procedures is available in the e-Prospectus 2026–27.
2. Admission to all Postgraduate Programmes shall be strictly based on CUET-PG-2026 scores and fulfillment of eligibility criteria prescribed in the e-Prospectus 2026–27.
3. Candidates must regularly visit the University Admission Portal and University website for updates regarding admission schedules, merit lists, counselling and other notification.
4. Registration through the Tripura University Admission Portal is mandatory for admission.
5. A one-time registration fee shall be applicable as per University rules.
6. Admission shall remain provisional subject to verification of original documents and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
7. Reservation policies of the Government of India/UGC adopted by Tripura University shall be applicable.
8. Candidates applying under supernumerary categories shall also be required to appear in CUET and complete online registration through the University portal.
