Admission Notification for UG 1st Counselling, 2026

It is hereby notified that the following enlisted candidates are requested to attend the Counselling for admission to 4 years B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture/Horticulture courses both for Pundibari Campus and College of Agriculture, Majhian for the session 2026-27 on 5th August, 2026. Candidates are requested to report physically for counseling to be held at Auditorium of ATIC Building at UBKV Main Campus, Pundibari, Coochbehar on 5th August, 2026 as per following schedule strictly and positively with all original and self-attested copies of documents for admission, failing which the candidature of the candidates will be treated as cancelled. Information submitted in the online Application Form will be treated as final and no further change will be entertained in future.

The number of seats for different courses is mentioned below-

• Date of Reporting, Counselling, Document verification and Admission: 05/08/2026
• Candidate has to report physically.
• Reporting time: 10:00 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
  Beyond the specified reporting time no request for attendance will be entertained.
• Commencement of counselling: 12:30 P.M. onwards
• Venue: ATIC Building, UBKV, Pundibari Campus, Right side of Main Gate.
• Admission & other fees: Rs. 22,850/- (to be paid by Debit/Credit card only)

• Copy of online application form.
• Copy of proof of date of birth i.e., either Birth certificate from competent authority or admit card of Madhyamik/equivalent (10th) examination.
• Copy of both side mark sheet of Madhyamik/equivalent (10th) examination.
• Copy of both side mark sheet of Higher Secondary/equivalent (10+2) examination.
• Copy of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS certificate.
• Candidates belonging to OBC category are instructed to bring OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (issued on or after 01.04.2026) and original caste certificate as per latest Govt. notification failing which the candidate will not be considered for OBC category.
• Candidates belonging to EWS category are instructed to bring EWS Certificate (issued on or after 01.04.2026).
• Copy of Domicile certificate from competent authority as “Prescribed format for Domicile Certificate” available in University website / Govt. issued format.
• School Leaving certificate issued from the Head of the institution from where he/she has passed last examination.
• Aadhaar Card.

• The candidates reported during 1st counselling will only be called for Second Counselling along with other wait listed candidates, if any vacancy arises. A candidate who was called at 1st counselling but failed to appear will not be entitled to appear in any successive counselling.
• The candidate who is selected for admission in the 1st counselling but denied to take admission, will not get further chance for appearing in any subsequent counselling for the same category of seat if any vacancy arises in future.
• Attendance in classes during the first fifteen days after the commencement of classes is mandatory and absence in any form during the period shall liable to cancellation of admission of the student. The resultant vacancy will be filled up through next counselling.
• Submission of admission fees does not confirm the admission to the degree programme until verification of related documents by the Admission Committee and medical fitness of the candidate is completed.
• Admission is subjected to the verification of all particulars declared by the applicant in the admission form and eligibility of the candidate by the Admission Committee. The decision of the Committees is final.
• Admitted candidates have to fill up the anti-ragging declaration through online after admission and the portal generated document need to be submitted on the 1st day of class programme.
• Admitted candidates need to submit the duly filled medical fitness format along with all desired medical test report endorsed by registered medical officer on the 1st day of the class programme.
• The name of the candidate will be eliminated from the merit list if false information submitted by the applicant is detected.
• Commencement of classes: 18/08/2026.
