The Second Merit list for admission to the undergraduate (regular) courses in various subjects of Patna University will be released on June 29, 2026. Applicants whose names appear on the merit list must comply with the following guidelines:
1. Applicants (male/female) whose names are on the merit list will be able to view it on - https://pupadm.samarth.edu.in/―using their login ID and password.
2. Applicants must visit their allotted College with allotment letter, application form, four passport-size photographs and all original certificates (also bring one photocopy of all original certificates.
3. After the document verification the candidate will be validated for admission by the concerned College, the candidate must pay the admission fees and take printout of the payment slip and submit it to the concerned college.
4. If any student does not get their preferred subject for admission, such students will log into the portal using their login ID and password immediately after taking admission, where they will find an option for upgradation.
5. After selecting the upgradation option, there will be a possibility for upgradation if seats are available in the subsequent list.
6. The counselling and admission process for the students selected in the Second merit list will be completed between 30.06.2026 to 03.07.2026.
7. The time for counselling is from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
8. All selected applicants must secure their admission within the scheduled date and time limit. Students who fail to be present for counselling on the scheduled date and time will automatically lose their claim for the next round.
9. The principals of all colleges will submit the report of the daily validation to Prof. Rajnish Kumar, Nodal Officer, Admission, in the Dean's office in the afternoon.
10. A link will be sent to all principals for counselling/admission.
11. Applicants are instructed to keep checking the Patna University website daily.
