UG Admissions 2026 Under EC & DA Quota

This is for Information to all concerned that some extra seats for UG 1st Semester (Science/Arts) are reserved under EC etc. quotas and Differently Abled (DA) category as listed below. These quotas are not applicable to any of the Self-financing UG programmes.

**A maximum of 3 seats per honours subject will be allotted from the EC etc. quotas. The selection of candidates for admission under EC etc. quota shall be made on the basis of the evaluation of certificates and performance test.

Important Notes:

Candidates seeking admission in all the mentioned categories must submit their Application Form (generated at the time of online submission for admission in Cotton University) to the Office of the Director of Students' Welfare, Cotton University. If any candidate is applying to more than one of the mentioned categories/major subjects, then she/he must submit separate application for each category/major subject.
Candidates of categories in Serial No. 1 to 5 of the 2nd table of Page-1 must submit copies of her/his best three performance certificates and HS final mark sheet as attachments with the Application Form mentioned in (i) above. Since ONLY THREE performance certificates will be considered, submitting more than three is therefore strictly discouraged.
Candidates of categories in Serial No. 6 to 8 of the 2nd table of Page-1 must submit copy of Domicile certificate, Passport, Martyred certificate etc. respectively (whichever is applicable) and HS final mark sheet as attachments with the Application Form mentioned in (i) above.
The total marks of a candidate for serial no. 1 to 8 of the 2nd table on Page 1 (except those having represented India in recognized International events) must not below 75% of the Cut- off marks in the unreserved category admission of the subject applied for.
A candidate seeking admission in DA (PWD) category (Serial No. 9 of the 2nd table of Page-1) must submit copy of disability certificate and HS final mark sheet as attachments with the Application Form mentioned in (i) above. No cut-off rules apply in this case.
The Director of Students' Welfare of Cotton University will notify for performance /fitness test /medical examination/ interaction etc. of shortlisted candidates through the Cotton University admission website https://admissions.cottonuniversity.ac.in.
The last date of submission of documents to the Office of the Director of Students' Welfare, Cotton University for UG admissions under EC etc. and DA quotas is 18/06/2026 till office hours (9 AM to 5 PM).
