Admission to B.Tech. (D.T.) Degree Programme through WBJEEB-2026 (Academic Session: 2026-2027)

The Admission of 1st Semester B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) Degree Programme of the Candidates allotted to West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences through WBJEE-2026 e-Counselling will be held as per following schedule.

The Admission schedule will be as follows:

(All dates are tentative and can be changed in extra ordinary circumstances. Candidates are requested to visit website regularly for updates)

Candidates those are only allotted for West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences in B.Tech. (D.T.) course through e-Counselling of WBJEE-2026 conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board through different rounds are eligible for admission as per the schedule mentioned above. Candidates must have to report in person physically to participate in the said admission process otherwise the candidature will be treated as cancelled.

Candidates will have to bring the following testimonials along with originals for verification at the time of physical reporting and admission:

• Two recent Passport size Colour Photograph,
• Rank Card of WBJEE-2026 conducted by WBJEEB,
• Admit Card of WBJEE-2026 conducted by WBJEEB,
• Original Medical Fitness Certificate issued by any registered Medical Practitioner,
• Self attested photocopy of Secondary Examination Admit Card/ Birth Certificate as age proof,
• Self attested photocopy of Mark sheet of Secondary Examination,
• Self attested photocopy of Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination,
• Self attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card,
• Self attested photocopy of valid SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PwD Certificate (wherever applicable),
• Self attested photocopy of Updated NCL Certificate for OBC candidates (wherever applicable),
• Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b) as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal. (Click here to download the proforma). Domicile Certificate obtained from the West Bengal e-district portal (https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE ) will also be accepted as the proof of domicile.
• Declaration on curbing the menace of ragging (Click here to download the proforma).

The admission fees of Rs. 13,660/- (Inclusive Rs. 1,500/- as cost of online application fee) for General/EWS/OBC (Hosteller) candidates & Rs. 13,360/- (Inclusive Rs. 1,200/- as cost of online application fee) for SC, ST, PwD (Hosteller) candidates has to be deposited on the day of admission by cash through Bank-challan at Belgachia branch only of Union Bank of India located at University Campus.

The Venue for Physical Reporting and Admission will be at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, WBUAFS, Vivek Bhawan, 68, K. B. Sarani, Belgachia, Kolkata – 700 037, West Bengal (Nearest location- Belgachia Metro Station, Google map location- Click here to locate ).

General Instructions:

• All the admission will be provisional. If at any stage it is found that you are otherwise ineligible or you have suppressed any material information or you have submitted false information/ documents, the admission will stand cancelled.
• The OBC candidates belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) are only eligible for admission as reserved category candidates. OBC candidates must submit an updated NCL certificate during online application failing which the candidate will be treated as Unreserved (UR)/ GENERAL. OBC-NCL Certificate and EWS certificate must be issued in appropriate format on or after 01.04.2026 as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal presently in vogue.
• Seats reserved for SC candidates if unfilled, will be filled up by the ST candidates and vice versa.
• Candidate must have to produce Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b or e-district) issued by the competent authority only as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal (Click here to download the proforma) on the day of the physical reporting and admission failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission. In case of proforma b or e-district domicile of the parent is furnished, it is required to produce any two of the following original ID proof (Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card, Passport) of the concerned parent during the stage of document verification where the said ID cards show that the residential address is in West Bengal. Domicile certificates issued by any elected people’s representative such as municipal commissioner, Councilor of Municipal Corporation/ Municipality, Member of three-tier Panchayat system or GTA, MLA or MP are not acceptable.
• University reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of seats without assigning any reason there of.
• In case of any dispute, the decision of the admission committee shall be full and final.
• Reservation policies will be according to the extant rules of Govt. of WB for admission in reserved seats for SC/ST/EWS/PwD. The Reservation for OBC will be followed as per State Government issued Kolkata Gazette Notification Nos. 944-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026; 945-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026 and Labr/85-Emp/EC/1M-01/2025 dated-25.05.2026.
• University may cancel or withheld the admission process in unavoidable circumstances.

The selected candidates must have to submit the downloaded online Anti-Ragging affidavit, it is mandatory for every student and his/her parents to submit an anti-ragging affidavit at the time of first registration and there after each year at the time of subsequent registration through two designated websites, namely www.antiragging.in and www.amanmovement.org .
